Verve, The - Where The Geese Go Lyrics
You get the burn
We're on the train
I feel no pain
I feel no pain
But I'm already there
Do you care?
Do you care?
I can't get it out of my head
When you said
I'm gonna leave
I felt surprised
That you wanted to know
Late at night
I'm feeling fine
What is it inside
It's inside
And I can't get it out of my head
When he said
I'm leaving

I DON'T NOW WHAT HAPPENS BUT HANDY-CONTACT IS DEAD FOR ME!!!
I don't usually put such strongly worded comments but, this song should have had fucking 350 million views by now. I love this song and that is no understatement 😊
if anyone wants the chords, just uploaded them here http://tabs.ultimate-guitar.com/t/the_verve/where_the_geese_go_crd.htm
such a shame what happened to the verve - i loved the earlier stuff wayyy more.....
i wish they had kept to their original sound and not gone more mainstream influenced by oasis for a bit more success - i think they would have done better in the long run if they had stuck to this type of sound...
just an amazing track...
What a wonderful song, hidden away as a sneaky b-side and then on the no come down album. One of their best, and sadly they left this type of music behind soon after
Pure bliss
Timeless
Subfuckinglime
The vocals on this are genius. The amount of pills I've taken lisitening to this is and other Verve b-sides is not, however. Still can't find the remote to the telly and it's been around 3 days now. Bet I've locked it in the car or summink. Ach well.. hardly watch telly anyways.
This is on the soundtrack to heaven.
My fave Verve B-side. This is anything but B-side material. This could have easily been on one of their albums. This (and A Storm in Heaven) always dug into my soul the deepest. Perfectly captures hearing the geese high above in the night sky as they fly south for the winter and November draws to its close.
RPA will be ashamed of his recent work when he hears this and songs of the like. still, thanks for all the fantastic songs you and the band wrote.
mccabe is simply fantastic.
You get the the gun

I feel no pain
this album and a joint is a good combo
Nice, mellow; it's good. Nice discovery. I'm #1,475 on 10/4/09. I gave this video 0 stars and the song 5 stars.
This song is virtually unknown, but it up there with their best, it is simply superb.
