@John Nihil Hmm, I wouldn't go that far. Definitely more of a Nina record than a Louise record though, too poppy/soft compared to old Veruca at their best--I miss Louise's guitar solos on this record.

This is how week the "rockstar scene". Veruca Salt was a b-list band at their height. They've been basically apart for 20 years, make a new album and are now easily A-list for rock band acts. I think sitting on the bench is gonna end up working for them.

This is one of the standouts from Ghost Notes.

Really strong album. Ranks up there with their best.

Idk im a little bitter about these bands getting back together 20 years later to me its just been to long + fans were completely roobed of great music when these bands split. Like gnr why get back together now its been 30 years why now when its completely over.

Life is right in the world again, with the original lineup back together. One of my favorite bands in the 90's, whose albums I never stopped listening to. I remember when Eight Arms to Hold You came out. A friend of mine came home with the cd, and myself and a few buddies all made a mad dash to the store to pick up a copy. The Ghost Notes album is a huge win. It's definitely the Veruca Salt sound I grew up with. I can't wait for more music in the future.

This song is a very good example of the high quality. Getting only better with every listen.

Ghost Notes is so fucking good. Don't know if anybody was clamoring for it or how it will do commercially but it is just a perfect record. Always loved them and I am glad they are back.
