You can hear it super clear through headphones! You just have to focus on it. It sounds really easy

i know it sounds really weird but i've found that the easiest way for me to learn a bass line by ear is to play the song really loud through my speakers and go into another room and listen through the wall. it filters out all the treble and distortion and you can hear the bass lines pretty well
