When I first listened to this song and hearing Veil Of Maya for the first time, I had no idea what to expect. At first I knew it was heavy and it would’ve been heavy throughout the song. But then the melodic clean vocals came on at 0:45 seconds in, all of a sudden this turned into what literally might heavy to something fantastically melodic and so amazing in a 100% instant. This is a modern metalcore classic in my opinion right now. That’s all because of how heavy it was at first, then the clean vocals made this song absolutely melodic and epic. You all heard it here first. Just like that. Keep on creating melodic metalcore songs Veil of Maya. You guys rock.

Im not entirely sure but i think this singer sings in the same register every song. Maybe im wrong but almost all the clen vocals sound the same to me

Veil Of Maya has a chance to be the biggest name in Metal. I like False Idol but I think Matriarch should have been their ground breaking moment. The chorus' these guys have with Lukas is just beyond epic and I hope the next one is an improvement on Matriarch even. These guys even at the level they are at are criminally underrated.

This band replaced Parkway Drive in my heart after Matriarch and this progression of that style is so damn sexy. I still stand by killing with a smile, horizons, and deep blue as the best three album run in history though.
