Vee, Bobby - One Last Kiss Lyrics

(One last kiss, one last kiss, give me one last kiss)

Oh, one last kiss, oh baby one last kiss
It never felt like this, oh baby not like this
You know I need your love, oh oh oh give me one last kiss

Oh one more time, oh baby one more time
You made me feel so fine, oh baby so so fine
You know I need your love, oh oh oh give me one last kiss

Darling it isn't right why must we say goodnight
Don't let me go like this
Baby I need you, so what if I have to
Go, just give me one last kiss

Oh one last kiss, oh baby one last kiss
It never felt like this, oh baby not like this
You know I need your love, oh oh oh give me one last kiss

Darling it isn't right why must we say goodnight
Don't let me go like this
Baby I need you, so what if I have to
Go, just give me one last kiss

Oh one last kiss, oh baby one last kiss
It never felt like this, oh baby not like this
You know I need your love, oh oh oh give me one last kiss

Oh oh oh, give me one last kiss (just one last kiss)

Vee, Bobby One Last Kiss Comments
  1. Neo Itako

when i was a toddler i used to sing this as " lang lang kiss, oh baby lang lang kiss" as my old folks told me...but i never remember until i heard this because the melody seems familiar to me.

  2. Jorge Mario Rodas

NIce song which I used to hear in my teen years. I remember some of my girl classmates made a club with this song's name. Those times are gone forever but I can still remember them when I hear a song like this one.

  3. Victor Velazquez

I was 7 yrs. old, in 1965, when my uncle was driving his cherry-red 1964 Buick Wildcat convertible(so much chrome - EVERYWHERE!) and this song came on and a while later "Broken-Hearted Melody"(1959) by Sarah Vaughn. Nice music.

this is true romantic music just makes you dream about love!

  15. Jorge Mario Rodas

Bobby Vee had a special style of singing that made him very liked and was very good to hear. He was one of my favorite singers in my teen years and hearing him again I remember so many things of High School.

    Louis Guerra

That's because he is trying to sound like Buddy Holly. He is a knockoff version of Holly's voice.

  16. Cecil Chandler

Bobby Vee was a super star with a lot of great songs, One last kiss is one of my favorites,, miss you Bobby

  17. Bob Golden

On this day in 1960 {May 26th} Bobby Vee performed "One Last Kiss" on the Dick Clark ABC-TV network weekday-afternoon program 'American Bandstand'...
The song did not make Billboard's Hot Top 100 chart, it would reached #112 on Billboard's Bubbling Under chart...
His next release, "Devil or Angel" would become his first of six Top 10 records, it peaked at #6, his five other Top 10 records were "Rubber Ball" {#6 in 1960}, "Take Good Care of My Baby" {#1 in 1961}, "Run To Him" {#2* in 1961}, "The Night Has A Thousand Eyes" {#3 in 1962}, and "Come Back When You Grow Up" {#3 in 1967}...
Bobby Vee, born Robert Thomas Velline, passed away at the age of 73 on October 24th, 2016...
    May he R.I.P.
    * "Run To Him" was at #2 for one week, and the #1 record for that week was "The Lion Sleeps Tonight" by the Tokens...

    oh oh oh happy.😃

This was my favorite song at the time. My Math and History teacher back then was Ron Thue, Bobby's cousin. He gave a great pitch for Bobby's music in front of class one day, but I'd already heard Bobby on KEYZ radio, Williston, ND

    BOBBY VEE ( 1943 - 2016 ) . QEPED !!!

  23. Bobby M

A perfect pop confection. One of my all time favorites!

  24. ALTEZZACOM ALFARO

Paco Cañedo´s Version is better, even this is fabulous...

  25. _Cloud_Fatty _the_Dog

I never knew Mr. Burns can sing like this

  26. Ronny.

NOW DON'T THIS SONG NOT BUT MAKE YA FEEL GOOD ALL OVER.? SURE A DO'S A ME.

  27. Auser Aone

00:40 Buddy Holly impersonator anyone? Seriously though, this refrain is my favorite part of the song. It makes me wonder what a less produced Holly and the Crickets version might have sounded like.

    Louis Guerra

I agree he is a knock off version of Holly's voice. He took Buddy's place for the rest of the winter dance tour. I understand Holly influence on everyone. But trying to sound like Buddy and write songs to photocopy his sound is no honor in that.

  28. ausfan100

This is actually the first version of the song to be released on record. Snuff Garrett knew the producer of 'By Bye Birdie' and rush-recorded the song for Bobby in April 1960. Later versions appeared on record by Crash Craddock, Jesse Pearson and The Marcels. The Vee recording was a victim of timing in that it was issued before he was well known and before he had his first genuine hit with 'Devil Or Angel' in 1960. If it had appeared after that song, IMHO it would have been a hit. It made #112 on the Bubbling Under charts.

+ausfan100 Thank you for this interesting information!

    Johnny Gainor

Yes, it should have been a Hit for him, it's by far the best version out there (that I've heard) and to the best of my knowledge - and I'm not an expert - the song, outside of the Musical play and the subsequent movie starring Dick Van Dyke, didn't really enjoy chart popularity as a single....or did it?

....Years passed by, the tapes got spoiled and were unfit for usage. But I didn't forget those lovely songs and longed to find them, though I knew neither the names of artists, nor the names of the songs. And suddenly while wandering around youtube I came across this priceless pearl. My soul is singing!!!!!!
    Thanks a lot for sharing.
    God bless you.

Yes, maybe the best of his bestest songs. I heard this song in childhood, when I was 4. My parents used to listen to great oldies (that time they were not oldies) on tape recorder. And I loved them very much. At that time it was impossible to get recordings of great foreign artists. But one of my dad's friends whose parents worked abroad got many recordings with wonderful songs and was good enough to present my dad with their copies recorded on tape. To be continued.....

  35. SweetWetHotHoney

One of my favourites by Bobby.

  39. thecountofbasie

This is a version of Conrad Birdie's song from Bye Bye Birdie (sounds like a cover of the studio recording on the soundtrack LP...it was never completely performed in the film)...I like this, but Jesse Pearson's original is better...thanks for sharing yet another rarity...good stuff all around

  40. RUEL MAMACOS
