Just got done watching the interview Timothy did with Russell and had to come back to watch this video! Love the interview. Glad you guys have stayed so close over the years. But yeah, I heard this remix before I ever heard the official song. I remember driving in my car listening to the radio and then the official one started to play I got GEEKED thinking it was you guys!! Disappointment set in quick and after that day anytime the official song would come on and I'd see a friend singing it is be like "You need to hear this Asian remix to the song! They kill it and I like it so much more!"... I even remember adding this song on a mixtape or two back in the day 😎 But yeah, this song is how I discovered D Pryde. It was to easy to see how much skill & potential the kid had. I remember looking him up on MySpace and trying to search all over the web for more music from him. I'm a long time believer and fan of his. Currently I'm 28 (so like roughly 4 years older than him) and I'm currently working with a group of people trying to build a entertainment studio in our city. I'm talking music recording, video, photos, podcast, whatever. And I often tell some of these young kids coming up to look up D Pryde.. I tell them to study him and the moves that young man made/makes. I love Pryde (and well everyone in this video, but sorry, I pick favorites lol 😅). I'll always wish and hope the best for him. I want him to be as successful as possible! But I really hope that young man knows he's created quite a great life for himself.. He's selfmade. More money is great but you can't really do much better than being your own boss & being successful... Anyway, sorry for the book. Much love to anyone that reads this and actually appreciate it for what it is ❤

Soap Boxx it's SOOOOOOOO many comments here talking about Russell bka D Pryde that it actually saddens me a little. I started listening to him a while before this came out & when I saw him in the back of The Source as Unsigned Hype I thought that was it, he finally is gonna get his US shine & I felt so proud... but his career stalled. Label mistakes & mismanagement, mom dying, drinking & drug use... he never got the chance to grab that brass ring & capitalize. That's sad.
