Hadn't heard this song in years. It always reminds me of one of my best friends who was killed in a head-on collision; ironically, he was the person who introduced me to VAST. It's been 17 years, and it still hits out of the blue...

This farewell piece always puts my darkest emotions at ease. I've seen so many pass from this world, but I have to hold onto the hope that they're better where they are... And I have to hope that I'll see them again. This song helps to remind me that they're still with me, at least in some way.

Beautiful song, it's like a spiritual journey of enlightenment. I like the amazing lyrics, you eyes look like that they are from God, why are you going to be outside eternity. Nice, peaceful melody in the background. Love this song.

i agree with all my heart, totally original and creative, this was the just a tidbit of music that came out during the later half of the 90's.....just to be flushed down the toilet when pop really started to flood the market.............Just SAD...........i would rather listen to stuff like this a million times over then hear the same five songs ALL the radio stations play these days.....

@Joshua Meyer I could not agree more... There was a period there in the late 90's were a lot of creative music was coming out. It wasn't hard to find good music. It was a brief time but it's still out there thanks to the internet.

For real, It was 6th grade since I've listened to these guys and now I'm 20 years old. Something about their music, perhaps the best word is divine.

VAST rules on all levels!

Pretty good stuff I must say. They really seem to capture that space rock atmosphere with their sound, which is also quite nice for listeners to explore. Also a lot of the instrument experimentation here fits quite well with their space theme.

I started listening to VAST in 2000 or 2001. I have no idea how my friend discovered them, but I didn't appreciate this song until the last year or so--now it's one of my favorites. So good.

I don't, considering that the bible is not the proven word of a proven god.
The nature-based religions preceded the judeo-christian ones, that is historical fact and there are rune stones scattered all over Europa which document tails of the Gods and Goddesses of that particular culture.
No animosity, just some insight :)
