@deathincarnate1337 Agreed. It's in those elongated pauses where that organ was so dominant and haunting. But this is the first version I heard (before I got the debut album) so I definitely have an affinity for it.

Well I did have to look up the words for Nirvana's "Teen Spirit" because it's impossible to understand what Kirk Cobain was saying, I can't say that this is the same case with "I am a Vampire". Jon Crosby lyrics are clear and easy to grasp, just listen. Try Google if you're really still stumped.

Maybe so,good point but, I love the realness of the sound of the vocals. The imperfection gives the song a uniqueness, & makes 1 take notice even if they don't realize why. =^..^=

I think the idea was that his voice is suppose to be ghost like, drifting in and out of the music. Or maybe somebody just botched the levels. ;)
