Sinner's Swing is Van Halen's best song. It has it all. killer riff, Eddie ripping on the solo, sexual lyrics by dave, and a great chorus with Michael hitting those high notes. Every one of those things is why we love Van Halen. Change my mind

Edward Van Halen is like Wayne Gretzky. There are guys who could shoot and skate better than Wayne and there are guys with more technical chops and theory than Eddie, but when you add the creative genius, nuance and originality these two guys possess combined with the way they reinvented their craft, no one can touch them.


They are both one in a billion. We take what they offered for granted now, but we will never see another like them if we lived to be 1000. The best there is, the best there was and the best there will ever be. We were lucky to be there.

THIS IS HARD ROCK...this is EPIC Van Halen...this is when nobody could touch this band! Their sound was pure rock energy...Take Your Whisky Home has the same kick ass rock feel and energy off the previous LP...the Michael Anthony vocals at the end seals the deal...fills out the signature sound! MA never got his due later on...Eddie, bro...listen to your own music pal!
