Used, The - Quixotica Lyrics
Ink into tattoo, it's your favorite, it's your birthday
The baby smokes. Didn't need it. Cut to pieces
A second chance you bought and hope to try to beat it
Because I dance like the desert wouldn't feel it
And takes the sacrament in a taxi
She's waits weeks fading in the wake of her serenity
Split sunshine hospital gurney
In delivery with a brand new burning baby
Home is where the heart lies
I'm not in love, but we need it
Pray we keep it
A faded daze, let the science be the secret
The body it craves and we behave and then repeat it
Face down with a little resign and proper livery
And takes the sacrament in a taxi
She's waits weeks fading in the wake of her serenity
Split sunshine hospital gurney
In delivery with a brand new burning baby
Home is where the heart lies
Face down with a little resign and proper livery
And takes the sacrament in a taxi
She's waits weeks fading in the wake of her serenity
Split sunshine hospital gurney
In delivery with a brand new burning baby
Home is where the heart lies
Home is where the heart lies

i stopped listening to The Used as i grew up, still liking the first album, but it started to seem females were the target audience. I never heard about this album until a few days ago but wow this is an awesome direction for them to go! MAKE MORE MUSIC LIKE THIS
Ahahaha! What?
The Used may be changing, but this song proves that The Used haven't forgotten their old roots. This song has the self-titled album written all over it.
Except it sucks. Their old shit was good. You know the chorus and verses in this song both have 4 chords in each? weak shit.
jesuslovesmebetter yeah, and your point? Bands like Green Day, Antiflag, Ramones, blink, (insert punk/sXc-punk band here), etc. have made relatively, if not incredibly, lucrative careers off of, what...like 5-6 power chords in different arrangements/progressions? You realize that's what defines the punk genre (in terms of musical style, at least), yes?
*Note: yes, I said SOFTCORE punk, bc I don't much care for oxymorons...pop and punk do not deserve the punishment of sharing a title, even if you have the common courtesy of hyphenating the completely irrelevant terms..)
interesting opinion. I disagree... and don't understand. I can't help but think you were playing system of a down while ur sister listened to justin beiber and missed the song completely.
Some bands do get better with age.
This is so bad. They sound like System of a Down met Justin Bieber. And I'm a die hard for the Used, but damn! I'm disappointed.
from what i have heard so far, the ocean of the sky has something for everyone, a proggy song, an instrumental, quixotica reminding us of the old the used, iddy biddy to show the direction they are heading in this is great!
Damn! this song is great!
Vulnerable was flawless, just like everything else they make.
A modern love, though deluded, pray to keep it
A faded faith, letting science be the secret
The body craves and we behave and then repeat it
Be not afraid you only parish as you leave it
A tic tack toe in the pavement, it's her birthday
The baby; smoked; didn't need it cut to pieces
A second chance; she bought a boat and tried to feed it
Her capsize dance; but like the desert-wooden fetus.
Face down her liver's out in proper livery and takes the sacrament in the taxi, she'd wake weeks later in the wake of her serenity spread and streched on hospital gurney; in delivery with a brand new baby...
Home is where the heart lies...
a him's fans wuuuuw! lml
SO. MUCH. BETTER. THAN. VULNERABLE.
Nothing I say could describe what I hear.
Awesome!!!
I would love the correct lyrics to this song... <3
Genial! :3
Al fin:')
Que felicidad. :')
ahhhhhh my ears are satisfied once again ^.^
Welcome back, The Used! I thought that Iddy Biddy was extraordinarily catchy and well-done, but was very cynical in its view of humanity and our generation. This song is perfect. The Used have truly returned.
Such a great song! Kinda wish I didn't have to work the day of Warped to see them
Perfectionn
FUCK YEAH
