Unfinished Thought - Voices Lyrics

Last Chance For Confusion
I'm Arming Myself Well
I Can Feel Your Intrusion

I Just Need
To Stop The Bleeding
From When I Fell

How Long Could You Stand There
Holding On To One Dark Thought
Holding On To Your Best Fear
That Tonight's The Day
My Sad Will Disappear

Tear Drop Sun Shine
Melts Color From Your Eyes
Star Scape Shadows
Shock Memories From Your Mind

Sometimes I Remember
To Feel The Chemicals
But Lately I Can Fake My Own Way Home

I Can Feel You Shiver
I Still Shiver For You

Would You Care To Star In My Next Delusion

It Breaks My Heart
To See You Turn Around
And Walk Away

Listen Closer
They'll Show You
Who To Blame

And When The Time Is Here
Your Spark Will Blind Us All
And The Ones That Lost Your Way Will Wish

I Can Feel You Shiver
I Still Shiver For You

It's Hard To Be Beautiful
When The Whole World Is Watching

thanks, great video! I've been struggling with the difference between fall and partial fall!
is there a subtle down and keep then unchanged for partial fall?

  12. J.... Y....

To speak english, I need musical talent.... :).. I can't differentiate the pitch or tone of sound well....

  13. N.... M....

Thanks a lot for the lesson. It's really helpful :)

  14. Y.... B....

Hi thanks for your explanation! I found that your pitch is exagerated in the video , but in reality we may not talk like that. So how to get a balance with them?

    Y.... B....

Everyone speaks with different musicality, and different emotions and emphasis will change the music once again. My advice is to practice, listen, and figure out what feels right for you.

I am a little curious about the way you speak. You teach me a good lesson. Thanks, but your voice doesn't simply go up or down at the end of the sentence. you went up at the beginning or in the middle of the sentences. Can you be more specifically on intonation? Thank you.

    R.... C....

That's a really good observation and question. When I'm recording, I definitely speak a little more in a "broadcast voice" and my "teaching voice", rather than just my everyday voice. This is because I want to be really CLEAR in my videos, and pitch helps with that. So, sometimes my ups and downs are, indeed, a bit exaggerated and appear throughout the sentences.

However, with that said, stressed content words (nouns, verbs, adjectives, etc…) do cause our pitch (the musical notes in our voices) to go up a little bit, whether that's in the middle or end of the sentence. Also, we go up and down in our voices to add emphasis and to express emotion. So, the intonation/pronunciation rules here are general rules. They are your starting point. But exceptions to the rules come when the speaker puts his or her individual stamp/personality/emotion into the speech to express meaning that is specific to that conversation. Did I answer your question? Does that help?

    R.... C....

Well, your answer did help. I see why I can't sound like a native English speaker. Now I know how to change the pitch. Again, thank you!!!

    R.... C....

@陈俊伟 Great, I'm glad that helped! Don't worry too much about sounding exactly like a native English speaker. I would focus on being as clear as possible and learning to express yourself as accurately as possible with the music of English. But a little accent sounds really cool, and it carries your first country's and language's identity in it, which is wonderful! :)

  16. T.... L....

very interesting. you seem like music so much!

    T.... L....

haha my in person students sometimes laugh at me, because I talk about "the music of English" so much. But then they start hearing it for themselves, and they say it too! :) I think I sing my words now….
