Unearth - Last Wish Lyrics
This life will soon come to an end
I'll leave my convictions
Day by day
I feel this life slipping away
I know I've lost it all
Hold out your hands
and take me from my misery
There's no coming back from this
I'll never wake
I'll never wake; I Never
I never wanted to leave you all
I never wanted to leave this life
No one can save me
I was left with no choice
Freedom. My last wish to be
Held on all I could
Free me from this misery
You know I'll never wake.

Unearth Last Wish Comments
They are the most magnificent duo ever in metalcore music, they get along so well in guitar playing, can't find a best duo. Maybe Dave Murray and Adrian Smith from Maiden, but these guys really do a very good noise
I didn't realize that they are from MA, Salute!
Oh I love this! Both their playing skills and their axes (especially Susi's) are great. I haven't gotten into Unearth but from what I hear (the music itself) I definitely dig it. My only concern is the quality of the singer's voice and screams which I haven't heard before...Describe his singing to me?
RolanTHUNDER Gritty and raw like they come from a visceral place where a lot of rage and anger reside. Trevor’s vox are not terribly versatile in range especially in high screams. Mids screams/yells to somewhat low growls.
monster!!! love them!
Would love to know what profile that is.
THIS LIFE! SOON WI COME TO AN END! I'LL LEAVE WITH MY CONVICTIONS!
This is Unearth music or August Burns Red music?
Can someone explain this?
Unearth started in 1998...ABR started in 2003.
@r w Different years of birth does not necessarily make Unearth duplicate ABR music right?
Other way around, kid. @Blackest Skyline
it sounds so amazing and the harmonics are way more louder i cant wait to get my first guitar with fishman pickups next year :)
For me these guys are the modern Downing/Tipton or Murray/Smith. In sync and so great at complimenting one another. So underrated. I can't say enough good about them.
Unearth one of my favorite bands up there with Megadeth(first 4 albums)
Heavily underrated and glad I know of them
fuck yeah!!!
SOOOO pumped for their new album.
These guys are beasts
I kind of liked buzzs sound more, what model fishman were in his?
Who is the dumbass who put the gain on the rhythm guitar far too low?
These guys play such insane guitar harmonies together!!
It's IMPOSSIBLE not to bang your head at 1:47
Either I’m deaf as hell or someone fucked up the mix. There is only one guitar sticking out, the other one is barely audible!
1:42 ☠☠☠
2:12 Uhhh what the fuck did I just watch?? Dude is too good.
2:27 Sounds fucking amazing.
I really enjoyed darkness in the light but last wish was always a skipper for me. If it was just an instrumental I’d love it. Sounds better this way
Wearing a Thy Art is Murder tshirt?
I think this band is kinda genius. Instead of tuning down a 6 string they just tuned up a 7 string, and I like it!
You'd love All Shall Perish's earlish stuff.
I can actually hear the bass in metalcore song!
That sounds like August Burns Red...
Yeah kind of. Both bands started around the same time. Unearth always had more of a thrashier sound.
Sounds like Trevor Phipps is screaming from a bathroom!
wtf lol
Legends in shredder! Some to mention but this guys are extraordinary
Agreed!
honestly I like how they sound without vocals at all. Maybe that`s just because I don`t like metalcore\hardcore types of vocals
Haha, that could have been my words ;-) Awesome riffs but the vocals suck (to me)
I’ve met ken before he showed a bunch of people fishman products at my music school he’s a really chill guy
Wow! These guys are so great together
Absolutely great riffs. Very very underrated band and guitarists!
Those pick ups though. These guys are very tight.
Ken can get a little sloppy l, stillamazing, but buz is a machine just flawless all the time!
Brilliant
Ken and Buzz are both awesome Metal guitar players.
I miss these guys
The originals! The progenitors of 7-string metal!
slipknotsk8ter89 Korn would like to have a word with you or Steve Vai
@NorthTimo cough *Jeff Loomis* cough
metalheadblues Yeah but Korn and Steve Vai made 7-strings popular.
@NorthTimo true. I play 7 string but I've never heard any via songs with the 7.
That would be Head and Munky from KoRn mate. Yes I know they're described as "nu-metal" but they're still metal. Dino Cazares from Fear Factory also had his 7 string metal revelation around the same time as they did.
amazing....
Only complaint that Buz was a little too quiet, but damn do I love these dudes.
literally my first thought 30 seconds into watching this.....good ear mate
2:51 🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Ken and Buzz are the last of a generation of true shredders who aren't total nerds. Unearth is so criminally underrated. Every album gets more technical and they've never lost the ability to write songs that actually go somewhere. Masters of going from 100 to 0 to 100 again. I can't listen to them driving, I learned that the expensive way.
RedHeadShred haha right on brother \m/ Unearth 4 lyfe!!!!
I've loved Unearth since 2001, and they're quite technical and also write songs. It's as if they are a combination of At The Gates meets Crowbar. Just the best combo of both of those bands with a little more tech influence.
I really like Unearth except for their vocalist. I like that his screams are uniqe but they just grate on my ears after a few songs consecutively. And there a few other shredders left that don't look and act like total dweebs lol
loool "true shredders who aren't total nerds" pretty sure thats called knowing music theory which isnt hard and are we still trying not to be nerds? Who gives a Fiddlers Fuuuuck if Andy James likes world of warcraft someone who can play well plays well, dont care if they don't look and act all cool like the metalcore boy bands you prefer. "True Shredder" hahaha just move on like the rest of us who know music theory and dont even give a fuck about the word shred when playing to begin with.
theonlyegg fuck all that technical bs heavy dope riffs is what matters
Moin.
Erstmal..klasse Video und weltklasse Gitarristen!
Mal ne kleine Frage ans Thomann-Team...wisst ihr welches Plek Ken benutzt ?
Super Duo , Bien cool !
Best guitar duo in metal...Period.
Peter Collier I was referring to Eddie's Guitars comment
They are great, but I think Adam D and Joel from KSE edge them out of 1st ever so slightly.
@Jordan Roberts Corey and Matt from Trivium tho.
Hetfield And Hammett?
They are great together, yes.......but Willie Adler and Mark Morton are probably the best duo in metal guitars. I myself have never heard a more tighter and consistent band LIVE other than Lamb of God.
share the kemper profiles
I'm sure they won't do it ... :)
Thomann Music i know :)
wow, nice!!
Great song.
