I was raised Mormon. at age 16 I pretty much broke away. from that age till I was in boot camp I refused religion. then I heard an awesome sermon by a Baptist navy chaplain. unfortunately after boot camp I tried real world churches N went 3/3 Stokes out. they all were crook's. once again I was back where I started. not believing. recently songs like this n the words of pastor Jeff have made me willing to attend my first service on Saturday. As an atheist I absolutely love this song.

Gaming Season me too...and i'm atheist...it's about the feeling of the song...religion doesn't matter...religion is just a way of thought...you don't need one to learn to be a good person...and i've met more good and giving non religious people than i have religious people. 95 percent of people today call themselves a religious title just as a title and to fit in with certain crowds. the best people i've ever met and most giving are ones who are good people at heart and don't need a book to tell them how to be the way...your parents, others who positively guide you in life, and your own brain is God. People's brains are God, and your life turns out the way it is depending on the type of person you are and the type of person you are comes from your brain, how you were raised and taught to use it, and whether you had the willpower to be good instead of evil. the only exception is mental health issues that disqualify certain people as fully functioning human beings.

Im a recovering addict from meth. I am now sober and through Christ thank you that I am still alive today. This song really hit me. Ive had relapses and urges to use more but God has pulled me out every time. Seeing this video makes me cry in Joy that Christ died for us and no longer do we have to suffer from anything in this life. He died for us and our troubles that we go through. This song cuts deep to the heart because I know through Christ that anything is possible to get through. He is the light in the darkness of any depression or relapse you are going through. Thank you Jesus for sending this band to give the message out to people that you are the way, the truth, and the life.

@Christopher Phillips people like me think about the eternal and not the temporary, or what the flesh desires. Which is what I mean by sacrificing for him. Everybody has free choice so you can live however you want, but the only way you will ever be given true eternal life is through accepting Jesus Christ.
