I don't usually do this, but to add another comment, I know we got a lot of Schenker-lovin' brothers and sisters out there, but this kid was 20 years old, maybe 21, on this set. But early on, mid-to late 60's, he took lead over his older brother Rudolf in Scorpions. He was 18 when Mick Bolton was dropped, and Michael made history. He shreds like no other, and those dark string arrangements could almost bring tears to your eyes. I posted, dark, a little psyche- but you rarely, if ever, get such deep emotion from strings, but you do with this track. I believe this was covered in a movie several years ago.

In the late 70s I was in a band that did this song. We all went to see UFO at the Portland Paramount Theater; they did this song. When it was over, we all looked at each other and realized we actually did a better version. It was a little weird.

Only people with an IQ can listen to this song and a flock of seagulls and appreciate talent.

You get a mix of emotions, from an almost eerie introduction, to an earthshaking Michael Schenker solo. Who needs anymore than that? My story, Love to Love, darkly beautiful.

Schenker is a patient guitarist. If you're a fan, you learn to wait and love the progression into explosion. If you're the impatient type, go listen to Pack It Up (and Go) and get all the explosions from the onset.

This album had consumed by a least 6 months. I checked it out from a Library. In 70's and never Rock never died for me. Back in 77 and so into UFO. Wonderful album!

Sounds a lot like Savatage or Savatage sounds a lot like UFO . Either way they are both extrodinary bands .

And that is how this song was announced on some radio stations and this is what I knew it as. Then one day outside Seattle around 1993, the disc jokey said he was going to play Misty Green and Blue as a listener's request but had to set the record straight and said the song is actually titled Love to Love and then played the song ..... had to pull over and just listen to it straight thorough....... so keep on calling it Misty Green and Blue, we know the song and the emotions it brings on.
