This great album is their best effort since Lights Out. It just missed one or two more songs, as it's fairly short without the 2 old songs that were rerecorded. I missed a really gentle, slow ballad and of course everybody wants a "Love To Love number 2" but this will never ever happen... Especially not now that Mogg is into old blues, for some curious reason.... Schenker had absolutely no root in blues.

2015 is a great year for UFO. UFO are out with the album "A Conspiracy of Stars" and Michael Schenker's Temple of Rock will be out with the album "Spirit On A Mission". Temple of Rock already have two videos out for the songs "Vigilante Man" and "Live & Let Live"!

Cant get into the Vinnie Moore version of UFO. 

Actually Vinnie is a classic guitar player that took his own style! Not to mention that he has been loyal to the band for 15 years More than I can say for Michael. I love Michael's style but I also loved Joe Montana before he Lost his job to Steve young! Pease.

Im sure some people will disagree but this and Strangers in the Night are their best albums...Schenker is unbelievable on this album.

I have something bad to say. I wish michael schenker was still with them. Vinnie is awesome but schenker writes better songs(but only when he working with way and co.)

This is almost like a gospel song. Never expected these lyrics from a mainstream hard rock band like UFO.

saw them blow away ozzy and cheap trick back in the day.they were the best live band in the world.i love both the chapman and schenker stuff.they were a classic rock band in an age when u had to be metal or new wave culture club or whatever.

I think Schenker may have had an influence on the lyrics of this song. This was a one of many times when Schenker founded Jesus.

Still playing this CD to this day in my cars rotation. Addicting guitar.

Its clear what is being said, the band is simply saying 'We Rock like no other!'

I find some of phils lyrics quite repetitive between songs. He's on a ok writer but he does a good job on catchy phrases. The soul of this band was they phil-schenker tension. When schenker is on he is magic, just gotta catch him on a good yr. The soloing and guitar work on this album is 2nd to none. Crunchy, heavy and that tone! Damn I wish I could get that tone that micheal has.

Michael's never had any lyrical input into the band, as far as I know, Most words on UFO songs are courtesy of Phil and he's never been shy about including his darker life experiences. Don't forget this is the band that pretty much out-substanced everybody around them in the late 70's/early 80's, nobody came close, not even Ozzy.

Lyrically, Phil will use whatever imagery and phrasing that works, be it Jesus references and still make them sound cool. One of rock's best lyricists.

I take it as a bit of Micheal's stretches of sobriety and sanity... except for the Jeebus part..... Chrisitanity is certainly a transparent myth... It's amazing what people will do in the name of Alcoholics Anonymous, the cult. But a breathtaking album nonetheless. That is my take, for what it's worth, Henry.

the opening guitar is reminiscent of natural thing.....ufo with schenker (and tonka chapman to a lesser extent) is one of my top 10 favorite bands of all time.... i listen to them all the time on you tube.....

Pete Way is soooooooooooooooooo underappreciated... as UFO were in general..... Yet ask the true successful stayers in the world of rock... They will and have said UFO played a very big part.

awesome i saw this tour walkin on the water and man it was electric and emotional ,and i even shook michaels hand with a sticky green bud in it for him, he didn't expect that. but he smiled lol support these guys ,they keep gettin better.......

essentially, if you have anything bad to say about UFO, you generally lose your credentials as a human being.

Love the music (how can they play so melodious tracks with such "hard", "rough" - you know what I mean - guitar tuning?), love the lyrics, love the voice and Schenker guitar. I'm just 21 - and old rock's still unbeatable to me.

Who is this Mike punk? Go away... you don't have a clue. I grew up on UFO... saw them again on Walk on Water tour... 95... I play the HELL out of this album... it's fn brilliant... just listen...it will make your stereo sound better. Schenk and Mogg ... awesome. My bro could nail on his Les Paul... Rock Bottom, Dr. Dr., Lights Out, Mother Mary, Natural Thing, Let it Roll, Shoot Shoot ...etc... so I know what I'm talking about!!!!!! Schenk a guitar players player...a prodigy...

the reason this cd sounds so much better to me than some of the later ones is the same producer that did lights out and obsession returned for this one...he really knew how to bring Michael to the front of the mix...and he never got any credit.

It amazes me that there are people out there who really appreciate UFO's music. I thought I was the only one who listened and truly understood their music. They are truly an underrated band. I have had the privilege of seeing them perform live. They are definitely one of the best bands ever!
