UB40 - Present Arms Lyrics
You got no job you got no pay
Join the military, sign today
They'll take you off to fight on foreign shores
You'll be your mother's pride and joy
A uniformed hero that shows no fear
The khaki ranks of flesh and steel
Learning how to smile and kill
They'll teach you to ignore the screams and tears

UB40 Present Arms Comments
Their best album by far
Loves this song 👌💯
Why they ended up covering or reggaefying other people's songs I will never know laziness, run out of ideas or inspiration or just an easier way to make alot of money Whichever way it was a tragedy because they wrote some classic tunes that are right up there with all the other greats of reggae.
Yup. .. one of the best reggae albums ever. (Dub good too.)

The best album from a brilliant and unique band.
Worshipped ub40 for many years. Now, looking back, I realise that it was only the first two albums that were pure class, everything else was just run of the mill.
