I have always noticed a resemblance between this song and Davide Bowie's "Station to Station". They both give name to and open their own albums, they both start with a long instrumental and noisy intro, they both have a tempo change in the middle of the song, they both talk about Europe ("the european cannon is here"). And finally they are both so underrated.

This song... I can't even describe it. It's not even my absolute favourite U2-song, but the emotions and feels I get from it are undescribable (especially when english isn't your native language). This song makes me remember something that I have never known, or that was too long ago for me to remember, seems to show me my entire life... the whispers at the beginning being the naive childhood... when the tension builds, the expections from life from a teen/young adult. I can relate so much, since I am in this situation, but other people may see something else. This song is the future, for Europe amd the world, but at the same time, otherworldly. It reflects reality and at the same time, is like a dream, like life somewhere in an alternative universe that we can't even understand... it opens to me questions about existence, about the human heart, frightens me and gives me hope at the same time. When I heard it for the first time, I felt like I somehow knew it, but it was spectacularly different from everything I've ever heard. It makes me understand everything for a few minutes but at the same time, realise how I know nothing? Makes me feel tiny and big at the same time? Being unique and a part of everything? It truly is a masterpiece.

I find this song do unique and original. I t brings me right back to 1993, my douchebag fiance of 5 YEARS. I am driving to work, I am listening to this song.. I look to my left at the parking lot for comfort Inn. I see the Cutlass Supreme I bought for her.??? She is in that hotel banging a mutual friend.!!! Priceless right. Well guess what, I disabled the engine so she could not start car, removed coil, some crucial wires. Ahh the pain, but through it all this song helped me stay "sane,"LoL

Underated and otherworldly, one of the best guitar sounds to come out of an effects pedal

I know that Joshua Tree, Rattle and Hum made them famous but for me Autung Baby and Zooropa are my favorites hands down

@Luca tienes razón, pero Zooropa también formó parte del concepto de Zoo TV en su etapa final este álbum representa el avance tecnológico y musical en las giras de U2 y en mi opinión es aún todavía muy infravalorado sería genial que ambos recibieran un gran homenaje mucho mejor que el de Joshua Tree.

@Spectral Killer imagino que, si incluyen algo de "Zooropa" en el Setlist, sería Stay y Zooropa, Me encantaría que vuelvan a tocar Numb o The Wanderer
