Been listening to U2 since 1986, Great band thats all i can say

I woke up to my headphones making noise. I picked them up to listen, thinking I left a song on. This was playing. I didn't know this song so I was like um what. I tried finding the source and closed all my apps. It was still playing..? Finally I unplugged the headphones and there was nothing playing. Tried plugging them in again, nothing. I R.E.M looked up some of the lyrics and now I'm here. @_@

I was in my car listening to a DEADMAU5 mix on my phone.... my gf called via WhatsApp... the incoming call interrupted the DEADMAU5 track..... after the call ended, I gathered my things and went inside the house.... when I got to my room, I noticed this song playing on my locked screen...... I opened my phone to see why it was playing and where it was coming from...... I checked my YouTube history, which was the source I was playing the DEADMAU5 mix and the this U2 song didn’t appear in my history, also, the DEADMAU5 track that was interrupted by the WhatsApp call was still in the current song playing position but paused because of the call...... I searched for the U2 song on YouTube and that’s what brought me here...... I played it and it felt soothing until I read the comment section where I came across a post where someone was saying that the songs about Catholic Church priests molesting children and that Bono’s anger is masked by the soothing music......... listened to it again and didn’t find anything that remotely backed up that statement......... what sucks is that I was feeling very relaxed and ready to sleep until I read that comment..... I’m not saying the comment is a lie, but what I do want I say is that if it was a ludicrous false statement, the person that wrote it should be ashamed of himself for distracting others from the serenity they were feeling from the music and either post some form of proof to substantiate his statement or delete his comment and write a retraction and apologize for posting disturbing nonsense that disrupted the emotion and mood of the song....... if I’m wrong and his comment is truthful, then I’ll
say that I’m sorry for making a this borderline harsh statement about his comment..... I wouldn’t have such strong words to say about it had I not been feeling so calm and comforted by the feel of the song..... If I’m wrong, I’m very wrong and sorry.... If I’m not, I hope he understands lies like that are destructive to the artists and the fans that may just want to enjoy the comfort music gives them.

Might be the minority... but this, Cedarwood Road, and The Troubles are the only great songs on this album. Everything else is extremely average by U2 standards. SOI makes No Line on the Horizon sound like Achtung Baby
