U2 - Love Is All We Have Left Lyrics

Amazing.

This song and it's lyrics mean so very much to me. I was broken when I first heard it on Dec 15, 2017. I won't go into great detail, but the stars on the night of Dec13 two nights earlier may well have saved my life. Thank you U2. If all we have left is love, it IS enough.

I just don't see why or how anybody can criticize anything these guys do nowadays. They're doing what they want! These guys are musicians! They've made their half a billion dollars. They've sold 80 million copies of their albums. Now it's time to do songs that THEY want to do.
These Lads are 60 years old this next year or two. Let them do their thing, and gracefully fade away like the other great bands of the mid 70's era

At first, I hated the new album. I remember hearing it for the fist time and saying to myself, “this isn’t U2!” And it’s true. We’ve been spoiled by albums like Joshua Tree and War (not that I’m complaining) but U2 is now appealing to a new generation of people who have different taste in music. Their lyrics are very meaningful, which I love, and the album has started to grow on me. I wish they’d step back and make a song that could’ve been in Joshua Tree, but they’re going in a new direction now. Can’t wait to see what’s next!

30yrs , an obsessive u2 devotee, idolising BONO to the point I’d defend him online or fight with a hater in person....only to discover a few months ago what a horrible globalist elite he is , a satanic deceiver who sold out not long after the release of JT in 87. A man who teamed up with the Clintons & Bush family’s in pushing their evil agenda upon us all. Devestated.

Bono, the world knew how great you were , u didn’t need to sell out for us to realise it.

@D R Hollingworth You are horribly wrong. Do you even know what he did working w/ Bush? He didn't want to have to work with the guy but the project was to get countries like the U.S. to cancel the debt that much smaller, struggling countries owed to them. Those countries couldn't get past paying interest on that debt and it was strangling them. Bono was successful and the countries whose debt got cancelled could redirect those payments to other priorities such as education for their youth. Bono founded several organizations working to address HIV AIDS and extreme poverty in Africa and other areas. His work with the Clinton Foundation, which supports numerous projects from education to clean water for impoverished communities, aligns with his own work and values.
Can you imagine setting aside your snark long enough to do something of that magnitude or even something on a smaller scale? Bono has had some missteps along the way; who wouldn't when you're tackling complicated issues? But he shows up every day to continue the work. How about you?
