Trias, Jasmine - Don't Go Lyrics

I gotta tell you, boy you're what I'm feelin'
I wanna be your girl
That's if you're willing
I love spending time with you
I love all of the things we do

May seem selfish
Boy I gotta tell you
I hate to see you leave
Don't wanna share you
Won't you be my man?
Boy I don't think you understand

Ooh every time you leave
I'll be missing you, baby
Don't want you to go
Don't want you to go
Don't want you to go

Every time you go away
You take a piece of me
I feel like a child
On the first day of kindergarten
I hate when you go, go

I know you got a life to live
And I got one, too
It's gon take some time for me to get used to
I hate when you go, go, go

Trias, Jasmine Don't Go Comments
  1. H.... L....

Apart from her conditon that day, the song itself is tricky to sing.

  2. W.... F....

Just say it, the judges were racist

  3. n.... ....

The problem is the judges just didn't want her to win and they kept bashing her however they can. She's a very good singer and Everyone has fk ups. They bashed her to the point you can tell she was burning out. Constant bullying. Remember when Latoya performed Ain't Nobody? It was terrible, but judges ignored that. Out of all the females she actually has the sexiest normal register. Way more than the three black divas.

    n.... ....

In other words: it was because she was Filipino American. You're right about how the non-stop bullying resulted in Jasmine losing her confidence.

  4. m.... g....

She's not well feeling that time...

    m.... g....

Jasmine & Diana were both sick that time if I recall.

  5. D.... A....

Jasmine and Diana had tonsillitis and laryngitis this week.

    D.... A....

    That explains it.

  6. s.... ....

This resulted her being in the Bottom 3 & Bottom 2 that week.

  7. c.... ....

What does Simon expect her to do? If that is the best she can do what more can she do? Then if she chooses a song that is really difficult & doesn’t sing it well, then he’ll just say that the song was too big for your voice. You were over singing it. It’s like damned if u do damned if u don’t situation. She didn’t do that bad. At least in my opinion. She still sang that song well & has a good voice.

    c.... ....

It was a no win situation in her case.

  8. V.... B....

Dont think it was as bad the judges thought but yep, the pitchy parts were really evident/overexposed. Breathe was way worse. The thing that this was 3rd week in a row she had evident pitchy problems, so judges started to give up on her. She was very good on the high notes (here she missed some moments going under pitchy) but her middle and specially her lower ranger exposed limitations most weeks.

    V.... B....

You're thinking that this was the beginning of her downfall ?

  9. S.... H....

She had the potential to really shine here. Those two "me"'s were absolutely terrible and made the performance that much worse..
