My gf through high school, 3 years. Dalis, I miss you so much. You dedicated this song to me when we first starting dating. You trusted in me, put all your faith and love in me. It was hard for me to believe someone like myself could save you from doing something so stupid, but you made me feel that way. Now after 4 plus years of being separated, I can't let go of how bad I treated our relationship. I can't get over you. I always end up telling myself that these last 4 years have been bad karma from our 3 years together. I haven't been with anyone else since. Tried but to no avail. I listen to this song once a month. This is the first tears have fallen in a long time

I hope you find Dalis again someday..But if not, (bc everything happens as it should, even if it's not how we wish for it to be) I hope you find closure and love once again.

I have seen Trevor in concert...Asheville, NC. He just resonates thru you. His music is powerful, his message so profound for such a young man. I don't even remember who the headliner was. I bought Trevor's EP he had at the time and left to listen to it in my car. I believe he was a prodigy, with too much wisdom and awareness for a young man to carry. Love is all that matters......Thank you for the music, Trevor. Namaste.
