Traffic Who Knows What Tomorrow May Bring Comments
This one got me dancin! 🤘🏻🤣
I like Zaucha's cover/Andrzej Zaucha-Who knows what tomorrow may bring
We are not like all the rest
You can see us any day of the week.
Come around, sit down, take a sniff, fall asleep
Baby you don't have to speak.
I'd like to show you where it is
But then it wouldn't even mean a thing.
Nothing is easy, baby just please me
Who knows what tomorrow may bring.
If for just one moment
You could step outside your mind.
And float across the ceiling
I don't think the folks would mind.
Well if for just one moment
You could step outside your mind.
And float across the ceiling
I don't think the folks would mind.
Who knows (who knows, who knows) what tomorrow may bring (repeat to fade)
Songwriters: Chris Wood / Jim Capaldi / Steve Winwood
Steve Winwood .. One of the most incredible blue eyed soul singers of his generation ... Check out His tribute to Ray Charles at 0:25
Jim Capaldi would be 74 today-he co-wrote this. There were only 2 performers on this cut-Jim and Steve Winwood.Winwood — lead vocals, Hammond organ, guitars, bass guitar.
Capaldi — drums, percussion, backing vocals
Somehow I can imagine a tall, leggy blonde slithering around a pole, grinding her hips and whipping her hair to the beat in some forgotten strip club :)
I played this and Pearly Queen on Bourbon St in 1969...in that forgotten strip club :-)
This song TAKES OFF at 2:10 LOVE IT !!!!
Why is this never played on the radio , why ??
You can only imagine how cool this sounded when you had smoked as much grass as these guys did.
Waited all summer (1970) to hear this!
I love you Stevie. I wish everyone know how great this song (and you) are. I watched you here in stupid Melbourne supporting Steely Dan and I was just MESMERISED. Love you x
This song is so damn cool, love the vocals❤❤❤
QUE TESÃO, PORRAAAAAAAAAAA, AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
This was my first Traffic album, acquired in 1970 or so. They became one of my very favorite pre-prog-Rock bands. Got to see/hear them in concert for the "Low Spark of High-Heeled Boys" album/tour.
Tight!!! Great bass and organ.
muskcode Both played by Stevie himself!

I'm not the first to recognize a Quincy Jones TV theme music vibe/influence here. The lyrics are pure psychedelic 'Annie'.
We are not like all the rest...!

@PaperBagMan11 It's not normal to not listen to this
