@Angsty Tantrum I have, for I'm a fan and all. And none of those songs have random ass death growls in it, especially the pop songs. Ih-ah doesn't, Life doesn't, nothing on Ghost has it. On his more metal songs it makes sense. Not here.

This type of song can only be composed and performed by a genious who is brave enough and have the backbone to do it! One of the very few musicians in this day and age who can pull this off . Enormous respect to Devin Townsend to make this wonderful music (that goes for the whole Empath album)

I'm pretty sure the movie Powder is actually a biopic of Devin Townsend's high school years.

Devin Townsend is an absolute site to behold during a live performance. He's truly something special and I've never connected with any other artist as much as I have him. Empath is without a doubt album of the year for me, nothing else can top it! Thank you Devin for never failing to uplift!!

Omg, my Husband enlightened me to this video content. I was in awe of Devy's vocals and artistic design...but...hubby told me the truth of the matter of this video. It is about the "Black Hole" and it's theories..all encompassed into this song. It shows all detail : What is transpiring is that the ship is keeping itself firing on retro rockets to keep itself at a certain distance from the black hole, because the theory is if you live near a black hole, all time and space stand still and you never age!!! And, the ending is showing Devy diving into the black hole and becoming split orfices as we don't know what would really happen if you could survive in a black hole. I can't stop playing this song. Dev is Dev, he does his own thing and he really is a creative genius, he has no rules and has such an incredible voice to back up his songwriting talents. Seems such a shame that after like 25 albums and such devotion to his craft that he is not comparable to many chart topping acts, life does seem unjustly fair sometimes.

I laughed for like a solid ten minutes when this song came on while I was listening to the album. I love how random it is. I love how the song is literally what I thought when I heard it.
