yup, i have autism and i heard this song. the lyrics were actually exactly what i was thinking. my jaw dropped when i heard this for the first time.

I love this song. It seems to perfectly describe part of what it's like to have autism (mostly what it's like when you have to talk to people and why it's usually futile and prohibitively stressful to do so), though I'm sure the meaning is much more general than that.

A song about detachment, and it sums up my life situation perfectly. Thank God for music, and it's ability to be relatable to anything you're feeling. As weird as this may sound, I feel as if music has been the only thing that's truly been there for me my whole entire life, and has saved me countless times.
