My friend recently showed me this band. I can't stop listening and I can't stop crying...I usually listen to angrier/heavier than this...I wasn't expecting this reaction within myself.

Less melodramatic and more simplistic/ straight forward lyrics from Jermey Bolm...

La dispute's singer sounds more dramática and fragile, like surrendering

touche amore's singer sounds more angry and scared, like screaming to someone holding him at gunpoint

At least i look at it that way

This album will go down as a defining classic..

Every song i can relate to, the feels the feels

Holy fuck I've been playing this whole thing on repeat for the past month or so. It's got that newer emo sound with a perfect flow of vocals that are so sincere and unpolished. Like damn pls suggest any bands/albums that remind you of this one cos I can't get enough of it, and it's so hard to come across non teen pop try hard post nowadays lol nevr look hard enough took me a while to find Touché. (ex. other favs R alexisonfire, PLS look into Art Vandelay(now known as Sit Calm) band u won't regret it, whatever i say is royal ocean album, dance Gavin dance etc)

I get this band mixed up with La Dispute so much. On more than one occasion I start one of their songs and think "oh I haven't heard this La Dispute song yet" and then proceed to facepalm when I remember it's Touché Amoré

it's taken me two whole years to finally start understanding how fucking good this album is. it's a shame I took so long to give it a chance.

I also didn't like the vocals when I first heard it, but I think this is now my #1 favorite album of all time. It's one of the few albums that I just have to finish every time I start it.

Well, your list kinda sucks.
The only more or less Skramz band from your list was "I Hate Myself" (which are btw a parody band), "Hot Cross" and "Touche Amore" are both Post-Hardcore, "Perfect Future" are... well, just listened to a few songs, sounds like melodic hardcore or something, but definitly NOT Skramz.

Senses Fail and Silverstein are both great bands though. Just putting that out there.

Every time I see comments like this, I check to see if the commenter has any music of his or her own. They never do. I guess it's easier to talk shit about someone else's work than it is to put your own creation out there for the world to see.

If you consider compressed mp3s as perfect...

7.1 headphones are useless if the music is'nt recorded with 7.1, because stereo can't be transormed into 7.1, even if there is a high end audio processor in your PC or your headphones.
These processors are not able to know, which instrument should be in the background, on the left/right, or in the foreground.
They only calculate everything.... and this isn't really good at all.
Believe me or try it yourself and play a stereo audio file with a 7.1 soundcard, which tries to make this stereo audio file 7.1. Then plugin one rearbox and you will hear that crappy sound, that comes out it.

Yea the concert was really good insaw them at house of blues orlando with rise against and some other band called radkey

Looked up these guys cuz i heard theyre touring with Rise Against. wow do they suck. if this is album quality i cringe to think of what they are like live. Each song sounds exactly the same to the point where if you skip to any random time in this video it sounds like a continuation of the opening song. The singer has no range to his voice at all and generically screams every lyric with no harmonic or melodic breaks at all. Just awful

Amore, with the accented e, is a musical term that roughly translates as gently, or tenderly. As in, play this part of the music gently. However, it also means love if used in a different context. Touche, with the accented e, is generally used to acknowledge the merit of an opposing point. So, Touche Amore COULD - emphasis on the could here peeps - could be acknowledging the equal but opposing force (touche) that hardcore music has over gentler forms of music (amore). I dunno. It's fun to think about.

Touché Amoré must be the shittiest band name in the history of music, and I already know bands such as Mr Mister, The The or Kiss the Anus of a Black Cat, or Paracocci... But seriously? Touché is French for touched, Amoré doesn't mean anything in French, but amore means love in Italian, so what, is it a mix of languages which finally means "touched love"? I find their name really awkward.
Music is good though.

The use of touché in English has a different usage from its literal meaning in French, so, could be that they intended the English usage in their band name.

The name is like saying, "Way to go my love, you got me." i.e. you stabbed me in the back or the heart etc. I actually like the name.

wow 142.748 people like this kind of music. i feel here pretty alone. with the years i felt ashamed listenig to this genre because i work in a bar in the kitchen and we have a soundsystem and everytime when i listend quitly to my music and someone comes in its everytime "wtf" reaction. one of them once said they would even start a relationship to someone that doenst listen to electo.
    and when i am at friends home i have to listen tons of their music and when they visit me and i listen my music the always wish a song and i never wish songs at their place. its hard being punkfan.

_During my high school days I was in a class where most people hated my music. I was listening to some "Hard Rock" band where two dudes in the class walked inside the classroom, heard my music and pulled out the cable for the computer. Just because I didn't stop the music when they came in, I got mad and told them I don't care. Where they just said "We hate that music, it's fucking lame." I wanted to punch them, but didn't. Today, I gotta' say, if they did that to me today, I'd kick their asses. Bet the many of you would have done the same thing._

I'm kinda dwelling in the same feeling (though I wouldn't put it in such a disregarding way) but at least I have to give them credit for the fantastic lyrics and the overall lyrical journey of the album, accompanied by very fitting music.

Even if it doesn't reach (y)our musical taste, let us at least give credit where credit is due.

I was thinking the same thing.  I love that hardcore punk vibe but I'm kind I think their kind of teetering on the edge of hardcore and like, green day or something...?  So yeah, I got here because I play the drums and was looking at a minor threat drum cover (love minor threat) and the guy that did the cover also did a cover of harbor by these guys.  still conflicted but their cool i guess.

I'm so excited for this. I don't have a record player, but I bought this album on vinyl over Christmas break. Listening to it on YouTube is nice and all, but I can't wait to hear the crackle of the needle and the raw, rich sounds of the record turning.
