Wow Randall sounds so much like Eddy Kendrick, his voice , OMG 😲 just makes you , feel that he’s not going to make it through those high notes, but he does so smoothly, it dynamic, and you’re left playing it again and again.

One of the best 90s soul ballads! Holy Smokes & Gee Whiz is an obvious nod to the classic 70s Philly Soul sound and the Wiggins brothers just knock it RIGHT OUT OF THE BALLPARK!!! House of Music is also a classic 90s R&B/Soul album and probably still the best work the group has done before or since. Too bad Raphael and Dwayne couldn't keep TTT going after this due to constant infighting (heard both brothers ended up recording their own songs in separate studios during the making of this album, yikes), but at least they got these gems out while the hatchet was temporarily buried between them back then...

...so sad.:(

@MyJunior1975 Thanks for the information - had a look on Wiki and read all about the artists doing most of the writing/recording separately. I was revisiting the album to do piano covers, and the insight nearly put me off, but the music is great so i decided to go ahead.

I thought this album was an instant classic at the time. It sounds even more amazing today. . .Wish there was more music as soulful as this around.

I was addicted to this song...there was definitely No FF on this CD.

After 15 years or more this album here is one of the greatest compilations i've heard in my lifetime. Anyone that has never heard it, or if you're a fan please buy it, It's a keeper

@SEFYH When it comes to complete albums by Tony Toni Tone, you are right SEFYH, House of Music was so nice to listen to all the way through. I think Raphael finally got this sound back on his new cd. Yet I love it All!
