God, I LOOVVVVE Ralph Sharon's sweet, quiet swinging comping behind Tony. Just so simple and perfect. NOONE makes Tony sound better than Ralph. At 0:33 when Tony says "I..." and Ralph plays that little chord? It just KILLS me how perfect that is.

+Daniel Schnee Was thinking the same thing. It's as much about Ralph filling in around Tony's now limited voice as it is the singing. He could make anybody sound good.
+Ed McGuigan How he uses/contemplates space in context of Tony's singing is such perfect jazz: jazz that lives up to its best ideals, tasteful yet unassuming, creative yet benefiting the collective... swings like crazy... you fall in love with jazz all over again. I could listen to this all day and night and still want more.
