Tommy Tutone Cheap Date Comments
  1. A.... M....

I fell in love with this "cheap video" from day #1! AMJ

  2. C.... S....

Ive loed him since day 1 and still do. Man doesnt do a bad song 💋to Tom

  3. B.... P....

More cowbell. One of the best songs of the era.

  4. j.... m....

    What’ya say June?

  5. b.... ....

I hope someone in the distant future finds this . Kind of perfect

  6. B.... P....

This is friggin awesome. More cowbell.

  7. N.... G....

I Love all Tommy's music.    I have some CD's burned and I guard them because they are not replaceable.     The best.   So underrated.

  8. F.... ....

In that era, you had to be able to play live. Wasn't all this nonsense with auto-tune and backup tracks and enhancements. These guys never made it really big but they can sure play live, and they sound great

  9. V.... L....

Their first album was so innovative and better than the popular one.

  10. U.... C....

Found their first LP in a thrift store - Power pop/New Wave at its finest. Went a bit awry after the first LP unfortunately. Great that someone captured this performance. Thanks for posting.

  11. C.... ....

Love this bands sound and meter......too bad that fat chick Jenny crushed them under her weight.

  12. d.... b....

    What do ya say, June.

  13. T.... ....

Yeah, the intro really made me think of "Watching the Detectives".
I hadn't noticed this in the studio version.
This was one of my favorite songs when it came out; I got it on a compilation called "Exposed".

  14. S.... M....

A little off the subject but I was jamming to Cowgirl in the Sand and the lyrics from Watching the Detectives fit like a glove ... This was always my favorite Tommy Tutone song...

  15. 0.... ....

Out past the cornfields where the woods got heavy
Out in the back seat of my '60 Chevy

  16. d.... ....

No, not trying to sound like Elvis Costello... just being Tommy... great music, tongue in cheek lyrics... just good stuff.. saw him at Knotts Berry Farm in 82... great concert.

  17. d.... ....

Is their attempt at sounding like Elvis Costello?

  18. J.... S....

This made my Favorites list. Hell yeah, brings back great memories ..Sounds just as good live here as on the studio versions. Thanks for loading this man cause Tommy Tutone's always one of those obscure bands that hardly anyone knows existed. Certainly not a One Hit Wonder

  19. c.... ....

@skatepunk98 I thought Angel Say No was. Did this actually chart?

  20. c.... ....

@HengistTheGreat Good call- I would not be suprised in the least if they ever admitted it. The middle part has that Andy Summers/Police guitar sound as well. New wave era, for sure.

  21. c.... ....

@KingKramerTV Saw them on the same tour in Indianapolis- and yes, they were awesome!!

  22. D.... ....

    Great performance Tommy.

  23. N.... ....

Never heard anything but their big hit. This kind of reminds me of the Police

  24. c.... ....

My favorite Tommy Tutone song! Thanks for posting this incredible video. These guys are very underrated. Loved them when they first came out and still love them to this day. I still play their record on a regular basis.

    c.... ....

First album was outstanding. Fat Chance a good song to

    c.... ....

I could not agree more. This grass roots stuff makes music! AM

  25. T.... P....

There other songs are not bad. I love when people say they are one hit. I go how many hits you have zero (0) ? lol.

  26. C.... N....

nails really beats on that bass so great

  27. G.... M....

I liked 867-5309, but not nearly as good as the other Tommy Tutone songs, this was my favorite. Unfortunately 867-5309 Jenny destroyed Tommy Tutone, like Gilligan's Island destroyed those actors. :-)

  28. l.... ....

wow i cant believe you found these songs it was all on one album i cruised palos verdes with this cranked...tthanks

  29. T.... ....

I have loved this song since it came out, my brother bought the lp so I never had to, but now it's gone...
It's funny how nobody remembers this one, it's so much better than 867-5309...
He did an acoustic solo version I saw on VH1 sometime ago....somebody please post that version, it rocked!
so does this one! thanks for posting it!

  30. l.... ....

This song played as a single briefly on my local rock station in Wyoming, and I never forgot. When the 22-track CD with both of the first two albums came out, I was one of the first to buy it and rave about it.

    Whaddaya say June?
