Difficult to even start to pic a Patton favourite.

This is my personal favorite of his and found out about them was kind of a cool story. Bought a stack of used CDs from a mom n pop store. Long story short there was a copy FNM's Angel Dust with Aftertaste & Born Annoying from Helmet in my stack. The clerk mentioned the 1st Tomahawk record which I was sold on the minute I saw the saw who was playing on that LP! This store btw would remond one of that flick, High Fidelity, and like most Mom n Pop joints its unfortunately gone. BUT I hear New Record in the works?

I believe this level of vocal diversity could be matched by a vocalist within the death metal genre who goes by the name Travis Ryan, lead singer of Cattle Decapitation. This is, of course, obviously considering Tomahawk are not in the same category of music-- but Cattle Decapitation's career also spans a measly twenty two years, while Mike Patton's music career alone began a whole of a decade earlier than they did.

Still, it's a considerable idea that hidden gems exist today-- they're just really, really difficult to find. There are also a very tiny number of patrons who might demand such fluency within all that is vocal as opposed to the demands by the mega-masses for simplicity.
