I love this song so much. My dad used to sing it to me and my sister as a lullaby every night. It makes me happy every time I hear it. :^)

I grew up listening to this music and now I'm 38 and I love that my 6 year old has to be sung to sleep with this song. A timeless American icon I think Petty is in the rarified air along with the likes of Willie Nelson and Bob Dylan

Most of us take life for granted, and losing the artist we have in the past few years who we have listened to growing up, brings us a little closer to our own mortality, losing Tom at the young age of 66 and everything he meant and has done has hit hard i will miss this man whom i have never met or seen, but he left an impact on my life with his words and music, when my day comes i will know that my era has had the greatest musicians to ever grace this earth. Rest In Peace Tom and all the others before you..
