because he doesn't sing rock and roll. He sings cheesy crooner songs. It's the same reason Wayne Newton and Englebert Humperdink aren''t in the RRHOF.

@Hairy Mo Tupac, Biggie and Whitney Houston are in the Rock Hall and they're not Rock n Roll. The Rock Hall has become all inclusive to all genres so Tom Jones should be included too.

I know alot of voice choices may be made in relation to LJH DH. Don't rule out the earthy root chakra singers Tom because healing wise they are very necessary in present times. I heard him sing 'It's Not Unusual' on The Voice last week and he sounds as good as he did in the Sixties. While Paul McCartney and Elton John sound nowhere near as good as they used to be.
