He allowed that clown Don King to ruin his career and set him up fighting stiffs in order to fill his wallet. If Tyson had the determination of Holyfield then he would likely have been the best ever but he didn't so I don't think he deserves all the adulation he gets because he threw it all away. He brought my family together when his championship fights were on the ppv, lead by none other.. Tyson was very entertaining and had a lot of talent but he is no where near being the best ever. He never beat any big names. He lost to Holyfield twice and to Lennox Lewis and his biggest ever win was over an average fighter named Trevor Berbick for the title.

People can say all they want that Tyson was washed up when he fought Lewis but he was still in his 20's when he fought Holyfield and was schooled twice. His record is filled with wins over tomato cans, just look for yourself.

Young Tyson was FASTER than ALI! As far as stamina, no one trained harder than Tyson during the D'mato era, so tiring out would not be an issue. The only argument you could make for Ali was the jab, but Ali didn't have the power to keep Tyson from charging him and that's where he would have lost. Tyson would have ate the jab and racked Ali with 5 and 6 punch combinations to the kidneys and chin! In other words the Frazier formula x10!

I disagree Frazier had a head as hard as rock and the fitness of a marthon runner. Every time Tyson took a big hit he lost and everytime his heart and fitness were pushed to the limit he was lacking. Those were Fraziers biggest qualities that are often over looked.

i definately believe that between tyson and ali, that tyson would win. I say this based on the fact that tyson was everything that frazier was and more. None the less, it would be a very interesting fight
