Get's you, right in the feels ! Love This !
How small we are .
Beautiful music
This was the first group I ever saw in concert. My senior year of high school in 1994. They were amazing and it will always have a positive lasting memory for me.
I love this song. I'm only 14 and I haven't heard it for 6 years!
Just a reminder
I came . To remind myself how small we are...
Holy mother of Sharapova! I forgot about this song! "And little ever changes, if anything at all. Just remind ourselves how small we are." TTWS was my shit! Ben Wyatt, anyone??? He's not only a Letters to Cleo fan....
I was 8 when I heard this song. 18 years later..... Still love it.
Epic......
Thanks boys.

"Ain't nothing really changes but the date" (Aerosmith, "Eat the Rich").
This should be the last song played before we all get wiped out of existence
I don't know how you came up with this thought, but I think you are a genius for it. I am sincerely awestruck and amazed by the true reality of this song. It touches my soul, every single time I hear it ! Lovely. Thank You !!!!
Some will make it. All in the end.
How cliché.
I will never understand why someone would unlike this song
killer song from a killer album ❤🔥

re: T Everett Reynolds [down the page] "This album (Fear) is the very last cassette tape I still own. I keep it in the old stereo boombox in the garage, and play it every time I wash and wax my car...Its crazy I can still play a 20 year old Maxell cassette tape I made in college! Long Live Toad the Wet Sprocket, one of the most underrated bands. "
>>yeah that's cause maxell made the best freaking tapes ever. it's a shame they stopped. i've still got tape dubs my dad made from vinyl in the early 80s that play perfectly and still sound amazing. truly remarkable quality XLII maxell. wish they'd bring em back.
Pure lyrical genius, this.
I'd say so!
I've been dropping the line "little ever changes" here and there, for like, 20 years now. Probably always will.
The reason I'm back listening to this now, is I just did... on facebook. First time I heard this, I don't think the internet was even invented, in any realistic sense.
most of their lyrics are pretty great, even going back to their first album 'bread and circus'
If you don't like this song, then you're just a Muslim.
Another snippet of beauty, one of them all that make up this timeless work.
Thanking GOD for one of his greatest creations! aka MR. GLENN PHILLIPS! <3 :D
Oh, lookie -- 4 miserable people just ~had~ to downvote.
how small they are.

"Nightingale Song"
We sing the nightingale song alive
Streets never border further than my sight
We sing the nightingale song alive
We might be different but our hearts won't lie
And little ever changes if anything at all
But the song rings loudly through these halls
We sing the nightingale song alive
We might be different but our hearts won't lie
And little ever changes when you view it from the sky
And the damage we encounter the earth just passes by
And little ever changes if anything at all
And we remind ourselves how small we are
One of my favourites from "Fear"
How can you watch that PS22 rendition and not smile the whole time? Fabulous, thanks for the suggestion!!
What a beautiful, beautiful thought to share. You made my night, and God bless you.
Awesome song from an awesome band.Check out PS22 Chorus doing this song on here. Really Cool, I think.
Very deep

This song is the anthem if my teenage years
WOW thats about all I got
Great memories, good stuff. Thanks Toad!
Classic!
This song has been my fav. since 1991..thats the date of the cd i own, that now will only play a couple of the songs.. its traveled a lot.. to europe and back and now has settled on the Big Island of Hawaii...:)
This is my camping song. Best song by Toad you won't hear on the radio, though they have many great songs you won't hear on the radio.
That's a very good category .
Beautiful but short song.
I was 15 when I got into TTWS bought all their albums, great band!!!!!!!!!!! :)
haha. this was my life, this band, when i was 15! i went on this trip with a buncha folks in their 20's, to see toad play in santa barbara! their music really was an important part of my life :)
The most awesome, but unbearably short, Toad song ever. Period.
Very well stated. Something about this is enchanting and so beautiful. As others here have said, Deep. I can't put it in words. . .
I've never listened to it only once....if you play it like 4 times in a row its not too short at all...
I don’t know why but every time I listen to this I feel like driving fast down back country roads. And I have no idea why
