Tippin, Aaron - Honky-Tonk Superman Lyrics
Well, down at the factory, I'm never late
I'm a mild mannered man who pulls his weight
I give a hundred percent, I don't ever stop
'Til Friday evening when I punch that clock
Then I disappear until the weekend's through
I'm a honky-tonk superman
Ready or not, I'm back again
Dancing on the tables
And swinging from the chandeliers
I'm a honky-tonk superman
That's who I really am
A real rebel, dare-devil
Honky-tonkin' superman
Last night I broke the record for acting a fool
My favorite waitress said I went a little too far
When I came roller skating down the top of the bar
Now, don't blame me for just having fun
The never should have bet me that it couldn't be done
I'm a honky-tonk superman
Ready or not, I'm back again
Dancing on the tables
And swinging from the chandeliers
I'm a honky-tonk superman
That's who I really am
A real rebel, dare-devil
Honky-tonkin' superman
Hey, look up there on the neon sign
It's a bird, it's a plane, Lord, he's lost his mind
Oh, it's just honky-tonk superman
Ready or not, I'm back again
Dancing on the tables
And swinging from the chandeliers
Whoa, yeah, I'm a honky-tonk superman
Yeah, that's who I really am
A real rebel, dare-devil, honky-tonkin' superman
Yeah, sure enough, real tough, honky-tonk superman

Tippin, Aaron Honky-Tonk Superman Comments
I love this song. Puts a smile on my face too
I was a extra in this video, while living in Nashville I got to do a number of videos and a commercial. Was lucky enough to meet a few singers.
This so funny and when reba got hite in the eye I played that part so meany times I almost fall off my chair HAHA
He shoulda played superman
Wish we still had TNN
And Nashville Now.
I laugh every time I watch this one, it's so funny. Way to go Aaron and Reba!
Classic indeed. My longtime neighbor Mr. Garcia looks just Aaron Tippin. Back in 2008, I met Aaron Tippin at a Golf Tournament and told him he looks like my neighbor and he asked Oh, cool, what's his name? and I gave the full name and he replied ***** Garcia. alright," he chuckled.. I'd like to meet this guy, I'd love to hang out with him some time and buy him a drink, yeah, he laughed!! He is so cool.
he put on a helluva live show. saw him back with this tour running with brooks and dunn then again with hank jr. he was amazing!!
This song and video is BADASS
Hilarious
No phony pop country!
Just by the mannerisms and facial expressions he makes, I think he would have been a great actor too.
Aaron Tippin always looks like he's having a good time making his videos.
She took his boots off lol
Reba is a hoot and should do more of this stuff. Who was the one that spelled Reba's last name wrong at the top?
That would be "ilovereba3" that put this video up.
Pure country music. Not junk music don't make no since. One greatest video and song A plus and Reba play part A plus. Thank you on Radio show Sunday afternoon. Since one radio station in Knoxville Tn play football game later change off to basketball I hate it run station wrong way. It play football game play start to end of game well got hear Honk Tonk radio station what game Sunday Nov27 2016 Tennesee Titins won. My favorite Team. Never Viking fan since came back 1983. Always Tennsesse Titins hope keep up with winning next month.
I wish country music was still like this- instead of the phony crap they play on the radio these days.
Yea me too.
StormLaker1975...I totally agree with your comment. Today's country music isn't really country to me anymore. For one...these record labels will give anyone a contract to sing. For two....a lot of these newer singers sound alike to me. And for three....when they do sing, there's way too much of a "pop style" to it, so it doesn't sound like the country music I know and love!!! One of my very favorite lines to say is..."all the good music was written and performed in our generation"!!! And believe it or not, my 21 yr old daughter agrees with me too!!!
This video puts a smile on my face. Bravo Aaron.
Love the Elvis tribute. Aaron is adorable.
Yeah,, that "Jailhouse Rock" tribute is a scream! Love it!
