I'm having trouble with this band and I would like someone's opinion. For one, I dont want to support someone who, when accused of sexual assault (Dylan) admitted to having assaulted someone without acknowledging any wrongdoing.

But, TMP is such a great band and they used to be my favorite. And there's nothing else like them in the emo revival scene. I'm very conflicted

man i fell in love with that early tmp midwest songs about youth, and i just cant picture myself listening to these and feeling like what im hearing has the same weight as the older records. this aint but it's really not my style, i think the old midwest stuff is where I'll stay

Sad to see them become a by-the-numbers pop punk band. So sterilized and boring.

I still think they are genuine and maybe just want more people to hear there music. And besides, find me a "by the book" band that would add the banjo part. This band is filling in the blink 182 hole. They aren't even pop punk anymore.

@Josh Grimm the banjo is just a gimmick. if you make a pop punk song and throw in a random banjo melody it doesn't suddenly become something else. and they're 100 percent pop punk, which didn't used to be the case.

That being said I'm happy to see them reaching out to a larger audience and thank god Dylan has finally learned to sing, even if the autotune is helping more than it should.
