This is a great rock song alright!
Wow! That guitar!
sttgaegoaktd
This would have been a much bigger song if it was released during the early 90's but Bowie was always a little ahead of the curve, took a few years for the music scene to catch up.
Proto-grunge.
Wow. Don't know who the lead singer is, but he should have gone solo. He may have may it.
Some guy called Davey Jones!
Unrated. Love this
La de años que han pasado y me sigue gustando a rabiar Tin Machine (mucho mas que los trabajos en solitario que hizo despues) y Under The God en particular.

ooooh yeah love yaaaaaaaa
A briliant song, pity The Dame stopped the band after only three albums ! !
David is one phenomenal beautiful man who is the epitome of talent and genius. His hair and his facial hair is on point, gorgeous man. 😍😍❤️❤️👏👏 xxxxxxx
This Song is sooooo damn good. Still alive. Full of Power!
1989. DAVID BOWIE pioneer and visionary as always. after this appeared Nirvana and other bands.
Yeah, but before this was Husker Du, Dinosaur Jr, Pixies, Sonic Youth, Janes Addiction, Soundgarden, Screaming Trees and a billion other SST, Sub Pop, Homestead, Touch and Go etc etc etc bands.... No way does Bowie get credit for 'grunge' and all that happened in the early 90s.
Excellent CD👍!
Toneladas de metal
This is SUCH a powerful song and totally relevant to today.
Wereld plaat om te horen 👍👍👍👍
Just superb!
I don't just like it, I love it!.
If ever a song summed up these times...... ;(
Always loved this song! So powerful and always relevent!
this is sooo relevant now ....................
It was then, but no one gives a fuck, hopefully, they do now!
I hear ya
The line Tribesman just wouldn't live here sort of sums it all up for me, fuck it I think I just claim a tree and enjoy the view has it all falls to peices.
+Sky Dog 2138 nope still gonna keep going around in circles
Only after his death that people respect the work that David had done in Tin Machine......
Nope. Tin Machine and Oy vay Baby are very much low points in his catalogue. On the other hand You Belong In Rock & Roll however is probably his most under rated single, which begs the question why include a different mix on the LP?
Jimmy Savile - Official Fan Channel it was said he felt being with tin machine was a breath of fresh air. Some people only check out he work with tin machine after his death.
I Like Bananas Sometimes you turn your opinion into an absolute? The tin machine was a necessary re inventing period for David for someone who felt artistically stuck ( according to a passage in Bowie on Bowie where he speaks on his time in the band.) I feel like it was Bowie making his thoughts of what 90s rock would be like. And for 1989 its quite nice. I'd say it's far from a low point... Again its a matter of opinion however factually he is on record of appreciating the reinvention it caused him to undergo. As a result he continued to put out some great stuff all the way till the end.
At the time very few of the radio DJ's picked up on it, Tommy Vance did and gave the song heavy rotation on the Friday Night Rock Show in the UK but truth be told I always felt that Bowie proved that he was an artiste who could do everything from glam through Ziggy Stardust to a harder sound with Tin Machine.
The sales were poor because his traditional fan base were loking for another Young Americans or Hero's when Bowie himself felt that it was worth two albums with Tin Machine, and out of the two opinions of his fans vs him when it came to his output what Bowie felt was right was right.
@Themightyinvader It's a bit late, but I agree 100% as good as he was in the 80's ,towards the end he was a bit stagnated, and needed something like this to move forward ,because of Lets Dance, the record company was pressuring him to keep the hits coming!! which is why we got the rushed "Tonight" album, which isn't really that bad, but it could have been much better... had David been allowed to take his time! and then there's never let me down ,for which he hated for it's total 80's sound! and the reason why he wanted to "redo it", well he never got to see the final product... but for the most part it's good ,but he should have been here and it would have been great! I'm glad he put out blackstar and the next day as it showed everyone he could still craft some great songs! I wish he was still here with us , but his music will have to suffice.
Hi ! David Bowie was always saying that the Chaos is always less far that we think. I think that it's what I think each time I watch this video.! A genious gone too early, even with all the music he let us, I would have liked to have more and more.....
I'm really sorry people...it's licenced by EMI, so not everyone gets to watch it. I didn't know. It's just The 4 TM's, this one, Prisoner of Love, Tin Machine, and Heaven's In Here. All others enjoy : )
