  1. C.... W....

rest in piece davi- oh wait this isnt bowie

  2. M.... R....

This singer reminds me a lot of David Bowie

  3. F.... L....

Instrumentals kinda reminds me of tragedy by beegees

  4. H.... S....

    Bogus hunches, justice
    Touches, clutches, touches
    Pushing, pulling punches
    Rackets, bluffing, lunches
    Pulling off a fast one
    Riffing off the last one
    Reeling in the big one
    Fished in, fished in
    Grifting, grifting, grifting

    Faking it to make it
    Never give, but take it
    Building trust through kindness
    To exploit the finest
    Walls and bridges burning
    Time and table turning
    Double-dipping, earning
    Lift it, lift it
    Grifting, grifting, grifting

White of the eye, salt of the earth
It's easy money for what it's worth
You're the brainchild, gifted at birth

    Wasted poker faces
    Smoke in mirrored places
    Sleight of hand, then weightless
    Vanished, gone and traceless
    Pilfering a nation
    Dazzling the patron
    Milking fascination
    Filching, pinching
    Grifting, grifting, grifting

    Keeping off the radar
    Ripping off what they are
    House of guilded swindlers
    Brick by brick, unbuild them
    Grift the true believer
    Grift the great achiever
    Grift the great deceiver
    Grifting, grifting
    Grifting, grifting, grifting

White of the eye, salt of the earth
It's easy money for what it's worth
You're the brainchild, gifted at birth

(i dont claim to have a correct transcription - for instance "filching" sounds like "pilching", but could also be "pitching"; however "filching" makes the most sense in the context of the song, in my opinion)

  5. S.... ....

I long for the day when HD can properly handle the noise/grainy effect and we'll all be able to watch this in its full glory

  6. R.... K....

  7. K.... o....

  14. B.... B....

The new Fame Bowie is somewhere real proud.

  15. H.... ....

like bowie in the late 80's early 90's

  16. M.... K....

0:30 Pink Floyd - Welcome to the Machine

  17. T.... R....

There's something a tiny bit 'Golden Years' about this, very good very unique sounding - really like it

  18. w.... ....

    bowie vibes!

  19. K.... K....

What a wonderful song. What a wonderful album.

  20. t.... ....

très bon titre & superbe vidéo

  21. u.... ....

Saw them live last night, and the new material translates really well to their live show. Still dark, still Timber Timbre, but a nice and calculated evolution of their sound. They also played their older stuff with new energy that this album brings. I for one, love it. But can understand people being frustrated with such a radical change in their sound.

    u.... ....

I agree it's not radical to those who understand the evolution of their sound over time, and how they've managed to maintain the integrity of their style throughout. However, there's obviously a lot of people who are jarred by the new sound. I'm keen to acknowledge that, but disagree respectfully.

  22. M.... K....

a melon told me this was the 80ies like david Bowie, but it´s more kinda history repeats periodly, again and again ;-)

  23. .... M....

Love it! different than the old stuff, love all the sound colors in it. reminds me of king crimson 80s stuff.

  24. x.... ....

This album is a step in the wrong direction.

  25. R.... ....

what the hell happened to him? Pure garbage.

    R.... ....

... they evolved because they are dynamic beings? inspired musicians like to change, stuck up fans want them to stay the same. I love the old stuff and I love this as well, can't wait to see it live!

    R.... ....

Just what happens to any artist changing. It's the chump change that artist lose as they walk the streets. An artist is an artist they change as their world changes. Life changes

  26. a.... s....

    nice clavinet

  27. B.... H....

    Song was simple .....sorry. Boring.

    B.... H....

did you even listen to the headache inducing syncope-triplet-bass-drum-rythm-madness

    how is that simple

  28. W.... ....

a melon told me this was trash but it's kinda good actually

    W.... ....

    FTFY Melon don't know shit

    W.... ....

he was very wrong on this album. he did not give it enough spins clearly

    W.... ....

    this is their best actually.
i have not problems with fantano, he can have his opinion, but man did his review impact this album, a lot of people never gave it a shot. That's sad.

    W.... ....

completely agree. his reviews have way too much gravity, and i don't think anyone can genuinely review that much music properly. really bums me out that this is modern music journalism@marco pivetta

    W.... ....

@MuggsyStyle i don't think he wants it that way, tbh, every know and then he'll even comment on why people shouldn't care that much about his personal, biased opinions. Personally i think people these days just feel overwhelmed by the gargantuan amount of new and good music out, so they seek out desperately for an aproving voice, to tell them what to like and what not to.

  29. -.... K....

    fucking greasy. love it

  30. i.... ....

    sensational album.

  31. S.... C....

Bowie and Pink Floyd had a love child and it came out as this song. Timber Timbre never ceases to surprise me.

    S.... C....

    . . . and a touch of Brian Ferry

    S.... C....

    I get some emmince front

    S.... C....

It begins like a song by Babasónicos (the song is called "Irresponsables"). Look for it and listen to it.

    S.... C....

Sir. Charles Edward said the same thing when I sent this to my boys. Bauhaus meets Roxy Music as plan B

    S.... C....

Reminds me more of Peter Gabriel actually

  32. D.... M....

    Cool vid

  33. K.... M....

...reading the lyrics, do they make anyone think of someone (famous)?

  34. W.... ....

    Superb video!
