I hope you got away from it. I used to do it too. I would either feel like I was about to fall apart or about to explode so I would cut. I've never been able to understand it but as soon as I saw blood it all went away. It was like draining a bathtub. The water being pent up emotions and the tub being my body. I was lucky enough to have my bestfriend to get me away from it. It just wasn't a healthy outlet she never judged me for it. My bestfriend and I have now
been married 5 & 1/2 years.

Thing's are still really tough some times but I'm a lot better now. I wish you nothing but the best. If you ever feel like it's to much reach out to someone. It can make all the difference in the world.

I think her rendition of it gives it a more desperate/hopeful atmosphere. I find the original much more bleak and despairing, and prefer it a little more. Both are great though

Demons will tourment those who have yet to see the horrors of reality. Trust me it gets greater later. For now rest and grow strong. They are snakes with no venom. And they are as harmless as a fly but can cause you to put harm apon yourself. Use your strength that you gained from your experiance to help others along with yourself.

Im glad you didn't go through with it. I have some long term issue's myself. I've thought about it myself. I thought about it on one of the best day's of my life. It was really wierd. I thought to myself that life could only get worse from that day on because I couldn't imagine a day better than that. I am doing ok now but the memory still haunts me. It's like dark part's of my mind bleed into light part's and I feel lost.
If you ever experience the same issue reach out... To anyone. It doesn't matter who. Some time's just hearing someone else's voice can help you realize what's happening. I wish you nothing but the best.

I'm not a religious man. However I see the strength, and the lessons and importance that can be found in many religious texts. I believe that a person who knows nothing of any sort of god can look at the words and find an important meaning to them. For example, a recovering drug addict May see the devil as the fear of relapse. An ever present evil that you must fight and do good to avoid or you will go to Hell( the miserable cycle and process of living miserably in the soul effort of finding that next fix). Hope that makes sense.

I like this song and the only other song I've heard by these guys, but i think The Gambler makes it better than it is. It drops great and you get left wanting more of the best of the song. Idk , after the movie, I feel like this is a long 3:42. But I really only mean to compliment the part in the movie. I started with "I like this song."
I guess I mean to say, that the part with this song in The Gambler is better than the song itself. Which makes sense. That and the "Fuck You" scene seem like the two moments that make that movie work.
