Yeah, Mr. Gilmour would probably agree with you. It reminds me as well somehow the brilliant Renaissance, but with Jon Camp on vocals, like in Kindness (At the End) and Kiev.

Actually, Tiamat had one of its early crises around the time they recorded "Clouds", because the band members disagreed with Edlund when he said he wanted to go in the Pink Floyd direction. If you listen closely, you'll find some PF influences on "Clouds", even more on "Wildhoney", and then Edlund went full psychedelic :P I actually enjoy this current blend of later Pink Floyd and Wildhoney-era Tiamat. It's a mature and refined sound. I can't wait for the new album.

A little too soft and bright for tiamat, not that they haven't done this kind of thing before but this is going pretty overboard...but saying that i'm still kind of charmed by it go figure, it's a good song

This song has stuck with me ever since I first heard it.. It's beautiful! There is something very dark and haunting about it.

it cannot be bad. I just saw Anathema two days ago (amazing performance) and I'm looking forward to seeing Tiamat again in a month or so. these guys evolve - the ones who remain stuck in their own poor concepts, narrow mentality and self-constructed limitations are us - the fans. these bands (and others as well) are widening and maturing their musical expressions and it's happening naturally since they as human beings do not stay the same. we are lost when this happens - change frightens

did you realize that at least two wonderful doom metal bands from 90´s become in 2000 in some songs a "pink floyd"? anathema and tiamat. it´s good or bad?

this song, i must say, apart from its AWESOME melody, has nice lyrics.
believe me, i know much about literature, and this song has the secong most incredible lyrics i've ever heard in my life in songs!
the guy who wrote them is a real poet!
and i usually DON'T GIVE A SHITTY DAMN about the lyrics generally, but i was excited by the lyrics of this song.
