There have been many Rock bands who have been really big who weren't a patch on Thunder in my opinion, Danny had a great voice probably still has for that matter, and their cover of Gimme Shelter is one of the best covers I've heard. I'm the wrong side of fifty guys and I've heard a lot of music but I don't think the young people realise how much good music there was in the seventies and eighties, I know many do but I actually feel sorry for many who think a lot of what they are listening to is great, it ain't I can assure them. Ps I realise there is good music still being made but I think I grew up through the right era in my opinion, music wise that is.
