My mother wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for a homeless person who gave her good advice. The dude is a nice guy, but come tourist season they tend to lock him up cause they don’t want out of towners seeing homeless people. It’s sad to see people on the streets, but we’re so focused on the stuff the news feeds us that we don’t give a second look.

Much respect to any and all bands like this that pay tribute and respects to military and service members of all kinds that fight for others' safety and well being and rights. Even those who do that cannot or have to just not take or receive any credit for doing so, there are countless many that fit that category and sometimes I dislike being one of them but it's not as though I seek out any sympathy but to receive it, except at times where I'm not in the mood for it, is always appreciated even if I do not show it upon receiving it. Honestly for those who don't understand it but want to and respect people who fight for them of all shades of good(necessary evil and or good) I, no we, all appreciate you. However for those who don't, those who are either close minded or have no clue what any of us go through and have no intention or even think that coming circumstances may somehow change their thoughts on such, please just stop thinking you can disrespect or snub or tell any of them off or even just treat them as dirt or less than dirt as they may sometimes appear on the street. Anyway in short, respect to all of you in Through Fire for being such the kind that respect and appreciate people like us.

I love the fact that there are a number of hard rock bands that are calling attention to the plight of our homeless veterans. We need to do more. Disturbed and FFDP also are incredible supporters of our veterans, police, and first responders.

My son listens to this song every single day as my son has extreme depression he does emphasize on almost everybody he believes that their is good in everybody I tell him as a mother be careful he's big into our military it's kinda ironic because none of our family was military he actually does get very emotional with this song and a lot of linkin park song I actually love him listen to this instead of the garbage he was listening to we don't see a lot of homeless people because I don't get out much and my son works extremely local but his obsessive kind nature of wanting to help even though he can be pushy his heart is why I am proud very colorful with his words of wisdom but never the less he's a good man

Love the video....not because the people are HOMELESS obviously.... That because my oldest brother has been a home was for over 15 years OFF and ON and has been through SO MUCH. In addition to THAT....he's been struggling with alcoholism for over 30 yrs and I'm just SO SCARED for him and scared of there being a day where one of us get that DREADED phone call from someone telling us that he's GONE FOREVER 😥 I KNOW God watches over him as his ENTIRE LIFE has PROVEN that MORE than I like to think about. It's NEVER TOO LATE to get the HELP that he SO BADLY NEEDS and I just wish he BELIEVED in HIMSELF and that it's POSSIBLE for him to OVERCOME his demons and PROVE to them that THEY WON'T HAVE THE LAST WORD in whether he LIVES the rest of his life with PEACE and HAPPINESS and a WHOLE HEART. I KNOW THIS because I TOO struggled with ADDICTION to OPIATE PAIN MEDICATION and wanted to just GIVE UP ON MY LIFE so many times....but I KNEW I COULDN'T because I DID/DO HAVE SOMETHING TO LIVE FOR....my 2 precious babies (11 & 13 yrs old now) and I wasn't about to be SELFISH and leave them MOTHERLESS.....especially at the ages they were at the time. I may have not been able to CONTROL the mindset of my NOW ex-husband and FORCE him to TRY and UNDERSTAND the AWFUL DISEASE known as ADDICTION....at least NOT ENOUGH to where I was able to CONVINCE HIM to STAY and just TOUGH IT OUT and FIGHT FOR ME and OUR MARRIAGE....but almost 3 YRS LATER....I now sit here as a DIVORCED 43 yr old SINGLE MOM and as DIFFICULT as SOME of the days CAN and OFTEN DO GET.....I'm GLAD my ex-husband chose to LEAVE ME and make me AVAILABLE for that special guy out there who WOULD have ENOUGH STRENGTH as well as THE COURAGE to HELP ME both FACE and FIGHT my demons HEAD ON vs. running from them and allowing them to WIN and have the FINAL SAY in how our lives turn out. So....with that being said.....if YOU or your SIGNIFICANT OTHER are either one struggling with SOME TYPE of ADDICTION....either YOURSELF or else your sober and it's your significant others battle.....PLEASE DON'T LEAVE THEM to GO IT ALONE as it's NOT THEM that you're fighting....it's the ADDICTION/DEMON ITSELF and that's exactly what that demon WANTS is for you to grow WEAK and WEARY and just GIVE UP. That way they'd have FULL CONTROL over your LOVED ONE and their disease. I know I wandered a little off course there....but a lot of times it's ADDICTION that puts people in the position to even BE HOMELESS in the FIRST PLACE.

So are you going too give all your money to the homeless??
