Great message. Dustin's lyrics in this album are an incredible trial and triumph of the human spirit. As he struggles with the ideas which keep him from being able to follow the church. And yet ends up finding what he was searching for , in relationship.
Now he is a leader at a church in Orange County California , I believe sings on the worship team last I heard.

No not really. it's called a parallel or a companion novel, song, movie whatever. It usually serves to fill out the story and complete the characters. For example if you look at a crime you HAVE to see noth the victim and the criminal to truly understand what happened same thing here. Though they did make some liberties with the story

Yeah but Daedalus is equally correct. Icarus didn't know how much he truly meant to his father so being rash and young he went to the sun and fell.

@PXNDXN Daedalus completes this song. The Melting Point is from Icarus's point of view and Daedalus is from his fathers point of view ... even though it took a while to come out it really complimented this song perfectly
