@pll15 This is from when they were starting out and really not taking it seriously. For fucks sake, Dustin laughs while singing. This is not meant to be a version to rival the original, nor was it even officially released. Listen to their cover of Helter Skelter. You still may not like it, but it shows what they're capable after 13 years of growth and an actual effort. This is the product of teens who are into punk having some fun. And yes it's hilariously bad.

This is one of my favorite Beatles songs and I absolutely adore the original version, but I really like this punk interpretation of the song. It fits the song very well.

Aw man back before they took themselves so seriously. Thrice is probably my all time favourite band and I love the stuff they're creating today but man do I miss that youth.

I love raw sounding music. I'm a big fan of 80s hardcore, and the sound those bands recorded with. I like the punk/thrash mix they put on this cover. Good stuff.

You are missing the point, this was done when they basically WERE a highschool band. Naturally it's not gonna sound great this was at the beginning of their careers.

It's like comparing IC or IoS to Alc index, it was old and not as refined as their newer stuff doesn't mean it's bad just different.
