I do not know whether oil is involved in this video. From a genuinely personal pov, the impact that people have on children is the main idea in this video. How you deal with children and how you raise them is the decider for this game - life. This clearly governs the malleable nature of the child shown here. The car is "life"; and when we take a ride in it, we get driven by people because we were still kids, fragile. Then in those fields, when a phase of life nears its end, the kid ultimately revolts so he could choose for himself, to get the desired honey, not knowing that he might lose his family. The inference is that it could be all about domestic abuse and its consequences.

found this song 4 years ago maybe 5 cant remember i had to typine in "honey rock song" first thing that popped up thankfully, drinking makers marhk, wallowin in my sadness hoping for better days.

I know the meaning of this song, and I respect the message.. But the video to me hits hard. Mainly just the yelling of the parent and child in a car. Car rides for me were miserable growing due to my mother constantly screaming at me and tearing me down. A 30 minute drive felt like a cross country drag, and I always felt as if I couldn't escape. I've even tried jumping out of the moving vehicle due to the tormenting bashes. I love this song, and I love the messages I portray and feel from it as well as it's true meaning.

My mental view on this song is on the personal side for me, because when I hear it it dictates my fight with depression, fighting the bad and the painful and the awful for the good in life. How people don't want to believe you that you're in pain and need help. How you hurt those around you when fighting to make yourself better. At first, the "bees" only attack you but after awhile it affects your loved ones in a way you can't apologize for, because you have to keep moving forward.

Well as long as I am not going anywhere I am thinking about this song and I feel like I'm swinging at a swarm of bees and I'll never get what I need I am give out with my situation and being able to make it better so I say sting me I don't care

Eventually too many stings can kill you. Its much better to pull back and examine yourself and your situation. True happiness lies in you. You just can't let the world tell you how to feel. It has to come from you. Once you find your truest form of yourself you can understand why you do what you do and then learn to accept and love yourself in good ways. Its hard but well worth it

And that's just the Lyrics, the actual music is top notch too, long enough to sink into it and short enough that you can't get enough of it.
