To be totally honest, I've never really cared for Fleetwood Mac; that having been said, I do acknowledge the fact that they were quite talented. I heard the original first, on the radio of course. I stumbled across the Three Days Grace cover a few years ago, and out of curiosity, or boredom, or because they're in my top 5 favorite bands, I'm not sure which, I gave their version a listen. I prefer the cover, hands down! I know from reading others' comments on this video that not everyone shares that sentiment, but to each their own. One thing I didn't know before I read the comments section was that other artists besides TDG had covered this particular song. I'll have to check out some other covers too, and see what I think.

Tantric cover is great as well. It's more in key with the original Fleetwood edition but still gives a rock depth to appreciate. This is a close second for me, as far as the covers go.

When you listen to this as its own song and without drawing comparisons to the original version, it stands pretty well on its own just because it's done in the band's style and isn't what would have been a poorly done cover if they tried to copy the original.

3DG didn't make this better. They simply made it in a somewhat different way. I much prefer the original though because of the stark contrast between the slow eerie first half and the rockier second half. 3DG killed that off in favor of a full rock version with only a slight break, and to me that's kinda bothersome.

I too have heard Fleetwood Mac’s version long before I ever heard this, but I recognized this the moment I heard it and when comparing the two, I think I prefer this version. But I mean I’m sort of a metal head constantly rocking out to Bullet For My Valentine, Metallica, Disturbed, Skillet, Black Veil Brides, etc. so perhaps that’s why.
