That song is great, but I really wonder what its main sense is

I guess he sings about a girl(maybe his girlfriend) which was maybe abused or lived just in violence at home and she was to scared to do something against it.["Now the vibrations in the floor are getting closer to the door And is this the way you let your problems drift away to?"] He wants to give her a feeling about safeness and helps her to forgett what was and to show her love.He wants also that she do somthink aginst it["Sleep tonight

(dont forgott thats my own interpretation of the song. i am not 100% sure if the means alls the same but all in all its that what i am thinking that thats what this song is about)

Oh wow, that's such a detailed answer! Honestly, its meaning is really a lot deeper than it might seem at first sight. I couldn't understand it properly, because I was a little confused about the way Trevor changed the subject. Like, telling about a girl and suddenly addressing to a listener. I think you're right, and your explanation made it much clearer to me now, thank you a lot!
