There is so many underrated bands that lost in time and not enough advertising/marketing pushed. Thornley, Revis, and others are the victims of corporate music industries. While I learned about Incubus and Deftones.. its opens me up to more choice and truth about this hard rock genre.

years ago I got to see these guys play at a small club In Jackson,ms... breaking Benjamin opened for them.... that's how far back it was, they killed that shit!

Ian is a monster guitarist and singer. (It's still weird to see Tavis without the longer hair, scruff,  and tattoos he has now. :P Also a fantastic singer/ guitarist/ guitar teacher, and super nice guy.)

Can people stop comparing Ian Thornley to Chris Cornell? It's really becoming annoying. They have a vaguely similar haircut (since Chris chopped his), but that is about it. Such comments, in my opinion, seem to lack depth and don't show both musicians the unique respect they each deserve. I am a big Soundgarden fan, but Ian is a far better guitarist and has more vocal range (Chris basically has his screaming voice and his non-screaming voice). They also have very different song-writing styles. The differences go on and on. So please. Just stop.
