It's all fun and games until you listen to the lyrics closely enough to realize how tragic this song is at its heart.

So much artistry in the eighties, first on the electronic side, then on the "backlash" in the late eighties. I missed a lot due to being a little young then, so good to revisit those days!

Yes, Tom and Alannah had a couple children I believe. They were married and then divorced amicably about 10 years ago. Both of them are married to other people now and are back living in England (from New Zealand).

best most talented group of all time got to see them in dallas texas 1985 with omd they were so awesome now were stuck with lady gag me and her ilk no talent threatrical distracting from there lack of talent with there shows so sad tt come back and save us

One of my all time favorite Twins tracks with a great atmospheric intro great guitar solo and brilliiant lyrics. A few weeks ago There was a pic of a woman from Japan sitting in her street after the Tsunami among ruines houses and this tracxk came to mind. A woman sits alone upon ruins of her home. She has no one left to love no one to caller her own. One of Alannah's finest moments.
