I love the song overall. I would prefer an arrangement or mix that didn’t include the overbearing techno that plays along with the chorus and in the background. Seems like to much going on. It gets in the way in my opinion. Anyone agree?

This touches my heart. I finally saw them in Tallahassee with my daughter who is 27. She listened to them with me when she was 7! The first album is one of my all time favorite albums. When we saw them his voice was still little me it was all of those years ago. This song feels so much like the first album. Love it!

Stephen Jenkins should have never parted ways with the original band members.

Easily one of the best songs on the album and that 3eb have really even created. At first I thought this video was a joke. But then I started to appreciate that you get to see the artist listen to their own jam in isolation. You can really see the mood of the song in the eyes.

Now this feels more like the old stuff I'm used to.

@Live From The 405 : Phil’s Old House I wouldn't say the lyrics have no depth. Maybe they're not as deep as The Background, Motorcycle Drive By or Palm Reader were, but they don't have to be. It's a nice sounding song, it's catchy, it has a good theme that very few artists write about well, and lyrics such as "touching where our souls meet" and "bouquet in a bayonet" really strike my heart. You're welcome to your own opinion, it just really saddens me how everyone wants another S/T without appreciating the beauty of this album as a separate entity.

Faith I’m not familiar with S/T. I like their new stuff from what I’ve heard so far. It’s a different path but good nonetheless. I preemptively posted original comment. It was a bit harsh. I saw them live a few weeks back. Very enjoyable.

@Live From The 405 : Phil’s Old House S/T is Self-Titled. Their first album, Third Eye Blind. Most people consider their first 3 albums, s/t, Blue, and OOTV to be the best. Personally I like all of them.

These dudes have always been there for me, good and bad, and have provided such an influence in my life...Good and bad;)...Can’t believe we’ve been together for 20+ years (cue in the crazy ex-gf) I remember the exact moment in time when I first heard Semi-Charmed Life...As I grew older, they grew with me...High school was easier with Blue...College life was MUCH easier with Out of the Vein...And Ursa Major really pushed me into life and blessed my ears in such a monumental time in my life...Love to all!!!

Yes I agree through out the many years they have provided the fans, new and old, excellent jams we could all relate to. At first hearing about past members leaving the band can bring a slight sadness to my thoughts about how the music will affect my love for this band but nope it doesn't last long. Move on but keep making those awesome songs. Even if it means kicking more members out and in with the new members but keep the good music rolling. To me, just as long its Stephen as the voice and the front man, it will always be 3eb.

Same exact situation man blue when I was sixteen, ironically wasn't a big fan of them my brother was, and Carson Daly was on TRL suggesting albums for people to buy I randomly bought blue and I never look back! I’m a big 3EB fan . Have been since the late 90’s and have seen them live at least 10 times . By far this might be their worst album. . Almost every song is unmemorable .

I respectfully disagree... been a fan since I first saw them in '97 and seen them every year after that they were touring and a few festivals and this is my favorite album in a while, top 3.

@Joanne V yeah, it's surprised me 3eb release this kinda song like in early 2000s, Stephan is a brilliant song writer, and as we know mostly 3eb lyrics is so deep and powerful. Blue album is one of the best.
