    DAMN! Mr. Brian Downey! One of my 70's very favorites monster double bass drummers along Cozy Powell and Les Binks!

    H.... L....

    @Hawk Lord 60's and 70's. Ginger Baker was playing drums in both these décades.

    H.... L....

    @rolf bay Do you say before Ian Paice "Fireball" double bass drumming??
    Do you say about Cream times?
    Please, name me an album or song with that playing!
    I must to hear that "pearl"! Thanks!

    @Hawk Lord Check out Ginger Baker's drum solo with Cream at the Royal Albert Hall in 1968.

    H.... L....

    @rolf bay Thank you!

    @rolf bay, sorry dude. With the passing of the great Ginger Baker the other day. Yes he was a great double bass drummer, however, Louie Bellson IS the Godfather of the double bass kit. Everyone else followed him .

    I relate so much to that air drummer guy having the time of his life while the girl next to him looks at him like 'WTF?' I saw Brian do this solo live last year and believe me he's still got those incredible chops behind the kit!

  11. L.... M....

    I can't imagine what it was like for people back in 75' hearing this for the first time! Sounds like something from the f**kin future!!...Even now! Great stuff!

    Lee Martin. The epitome of cool 70s hard rock band.😎

    L.... M....

    @J Cavazos you got that right. The Kings!

    L.... M....

    I saw them in 1977 warming up for Queen. They were amazing, but I hadn't heard them before and really didn't know what I was listening to. Oh to go back in time and shout with approval!!
